Explanation of every single incident Congo lightning:In October 1998 a lightning struck the field and it killed 11 players now the strange thing about this is that the other team was unharmed meaning that the team was cursed and the match ended 1-1 after the lightning was struck Phil O’Donell:in December 2007 Phil O’Donell was playing a match but after he scored and was celebrating and was about to be substituted, he collapsed to the ground,He got treating on the pitch for 5 minutes before going to the general hospital,and hours later he was pronounced DEAD,In January 2008 doctors said that his left ventricular failed and that’s the reason he passed away what was even more scary was that his teammates celebrating and trying to pick him up from the ground Andres Escobar:Escobar was a star defender in the National Colombia team,But then the 1994 World Cup came,Colombia was placed in a group which included Switzerland,Romania,And the United States of America,They were in a match with the United States and the game was 1-1 until Escobar tried to defend the ball but rather conceded an own goal,Now they did win a match which was against Switzerland but they still lost and got knocked out of the World Cup,Then few days later,the Colombia team return to their friends and family but one late night andres Escobar when to a party club with his friends and it became really late so his friends went home but the worst part happens,2 armed men enter the party club and shot Escobar 6 times and said “GOAL” each time they shot a bullet to reference the commentor saying “GOAL” 6 times,Now Escobar survived the bullets for an hour but later died because of his injuries,And since he was One of the nicest players in football,120k+ people attended his funeral,meanwhile the 2 armed men who shot him got arrested and the police said that some gang (maybe a gang)betted money that Colombia would win the World Cup but Columbia lost the World Cup and they lost their money so they told 2 armed men to go and kill Escobar for conceding an own goal,what’s more scary is that after the match ended 1-2 Escobar said”Life doesn’t end here”Escobar Truely didn’t deserve this Lima stadium incident:In 1964 Peru faced Argentina,Now fans were hyping and all but in the near end of the match Peru scored a goal only for it to be disallowed by the referee,now this angered fans and they started invading the pitch and also beating the ref, Now there were police officers so they responded with violence by shooting several gun shots and evacuating the crowd,but they angered the crowd even more and more came and police officers released a gas (I don’t know the name)and shot more bullets,now the crowd panicked because of the gas and tried to escape but the gates were closed so to escape they tried everything but most of them got crushed under the weight,350+ died and 500+ injured also I’m not counting the injuries and deaths caused through the bullets so it can be way more
