@BookofValis For well over 300 years (ever since Newton vs Leibniz) we have defined 0 and 1 (and their geometric counterparts) as follows: 0 = not-necessary 0D = not-necessary 1 = necessary 1D = necessary (Newton won so above are his definitions. Newton conflated "natural" with "necessary" and was largely ignorant of Geometry.) A year ago quantum physics proved that Leibniz was actually correct (the universe is "not locally real") which looks like this: 0 = necessary 0D = necessary 1= not-necessary 1D = not-necessary Since Mathematics > Physics > Chemistry > Biology... the implications of the definitions of 0 and 1 changing are world altering. "Only the zero-of yourself is necessary" is now a true statement (always has been). That's neat to think about. A little over a year ago the zero-of yourself was not-necessary. See how the facts change over time? Newton really set humanity back with his conflated definitions. Zero is the most important number in mathematics and is both a real and an imaginary number with a horizon through it. It's geometric counterpart zero-dimensional space is the most important dimension in physics and is both a real and an imaginary dimension with an event horizon through it. Quarks are zero-dimensional color-charged electricity and the Monad is the zero-dimensional space binding our quarks together with the strong force; the hue-monad (or soul). Read Leibniz's Monadology 📖. Black holes are ten-dimensional: Zero is the only number with a horizon through it. Zero-dimensional space is the only dimension with an event horizon through it. So, has to include a 0. Got it. 0 and 10 are the first two times we encounter zero in the natural number system (1-9 are nonzero numbers). Their geometric counterparts 0D (quantum) and 10D (cosmological) would then be the event horizon boundaries of this side of the mirror universe. What is the definition of zero in math? Zero is the integer denoted 0 that, when used as a counting number, means that no objects are present. It is the only integer (and, in fact, the only real number) that is neither negative nor positive. A number which is not zero is said to be nonzero. A root of a function is also sometimes known as "a zero of ." Any non-zero number to the zero power equals one. Zero to any positive exponent equals zero. Zero is the subject where counting numbers are the objects. [Subject]: a thinking or feeling entity; the conscious mind; the ego, especially as opposed to anything external to the mind. [Object]: a thing external to the thinking mind or subject.

@BookofValis Monad (from Greek μονάς monas, "singularity" in turn from μόνος monos, "alone") refers, in cosmogony, to the Supreme Being, divinity or the totality of all things. The concept was reportedly conceived by the Pythagoreans and may refer variously to a single source acting alone, or to an indivisible origin, or to both. The concept was later adopted by other philosophers, such as Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz, who referred to the Monad as an *elementary particle.* It had a *geometric counterpart,* which was debated and discussed contemporaneously by the same groups of people. [In this speculative scenario, let's consider Leibniz's *Monad,* from the philosophical work "The Monadology", as an abstract representation of *the zero-dimensional space that binds quarks together* using the strong nuclear force]: 1) Indivisibility and Unity: Monads, as indivisible entities, mirror the nature of quarks, which are deemed elementary and indivisible particles in our theoretical context. Just as monads possess unity and indivisibility, quarks are unified in their interactions through the strong force. 2) Interconnectedness: Leibniz's monads are interconnected, each reflecting the entire universe from its own perspective. In a parallel manner, the interconnectedness of quarks through the strong force could be metaphorically represented by the interplay of monads, forming a web that holds particles together. 3) Inherent Properties: Just as monads possess inherent perceptions and appetitions, quarks could be thought of as having intrinsic properties like color charge, reflecting the inherent qualities of monads and influencing their interactions. 4) Harmony: The concept of monads contributing to universal harmony resonates with the idea that the strong nuclear force maintains harmony within atomic nuclei by counteracting the electromagnetic repulsion between protons, allowing for the stability of matter. 5) Pre-established Harmony: Monads' pre-established harmony aligns with the idea that the strong force was pre-designed to ensure stable interactions among quarks, orchestrating their behavior in a way that parallels the harmony envisaged by Leibniz. 6) Non-Mechanical Interaction: Monads interact non-mechanically, mirroring the non-mechanical interactions of quarks through gluon exchange. This connection might be seen as a metaphorical reflection of the intricacies of quark-gluon dynamics. 7) Holism: The holistic perspective of monads could symbolize how quarks, like the monads' interconnections, contribute holistically to the structure and behavior of particles through the strong force interactions.

Curing cancer means less people not working. Less cancer means less people who are not contributing to an economy in a meaningful way. From the point of view of a pharmacy, yeah, a one treatment cure would mean less money. From the point of view from an entire society, it would mean a benefit to everyone, including pharmacys. Cancer hasn't been cured because we don't know how to, not because people don't want to

I personally believe morality comes from our ancestors as a pure instinct to survive. The most baseline aspect of morality: do not kill others, likely derived from when we were much smaller in population, and thus killing each other would lead to extinction and thus we needed to survive together. Or that early humans needed to work together to find food, take care of children, and provide for each other led to morals about hurting one another. As society advances and gets less worried about extinction and survival as a whole, morality changes. the fact that we are overpopulated, and no longer need to breed so often to maintain the species, leads to more leeway about whether people HAVE to take a partner or have children, for example
@Lifesizemortal
@Lifesizemortal 10 ай бұрын
Exactly, morality has always sprung from altruism. People who say that morality is subjective have no concept of altruism. There are objective evils within the scope of a species and how they treat their peers and environment. Period. End of discussion.

@@LifesizemortalImo, Morality is subjective for this reason! Some things like murder is wrong etc is obvious, but other morals (like some believing homosexuality is wrong or something) can be subjective. Here's a question that I often see: Would you rather save your pet or a random stranger? Some people say they'd save their pet, some way they'd save the stranger. Cultures around the world have entirely different morals from each other, mostly based on religion or cultural beliefs. How do we know, objectively, who's morals are correct?

I've never gone into deep thought on morality, but the only thing I can distinguish is between natural and mental/spiritual morals. Natural morality is to me as you described, and I think it can be objectively quantified. Non-natural morality, on the other hand, is purely subjective if not built on these natural instincts and adaptations. It doesn't matter to me how transcendental and smart some of these moral worldviews are. If they're not based on this reality, they're out of place.

In 2011 CERN detected particles going faster than light, there was a big deal made about this(obviously) but what was weird is after a few months (I think) it was ,after a review process, attributed to "loose cables" and other minor things . That's not the weird thing, what was odd was the entire team that worked on that test and that reported the results quit, because they said they already made sure everything was neat and tidy... Why would they quit ? Because they actually detected those particles going faster than light, and disagreed with the cover-up

it makes sense that something could travel faster than light under the right conditions. light is just a particle... (that acts like a wave when observed). it's just a particle that is so small that observations effect it, because humans produce emf. (we use electricity to send siganls to organs, every moving electron creates a magnetic field, and it's measurable) so a quark or something lighter that a light particle that has force behind it could definitely move faster than light. why they would want to hide that fact? I'm not sure about that... they contradict themselves so much... they being the controllers. the one's that hide the truth and take you out if you make a car that runs on hydrogen fuel cells.

The idea that I can’t grasp infinity when going backwards in time before the Big Bang, as in always was but until the point of our universe created is one of my personal reasons why I’m agnostic
@2pigsTV

Think of the universe needing a clock to keep time. Right now, an intelligent civilization like ourselves can measure time passing with something like the decay of a star, or even a planet spinning. Before that, before the Big Bang, there was nothing to measure time, therefore it is completely irrelevant to an intelligent civilization, it didn’t exist, it isn’t relevant. Only the most minute fluctuations happen in the fabric of existence. There are theories that the Big Bang are the result of one of those fluctuations that happened to expand that infinitely dense point that would become our universe

Reality is very paradoxical, no matter what your view on creation is you have to accept that something has always existed without anything to create it. Even if particles caused the big bang you have to wonder what allowed the particles to originally exist, any if they were created by something prior then what created that thing. The idea of something having always existed in our universe is the only view that makes sense rationally, but at the same time it can't possibly make sense within our human framework of logic

Theories about ancient history have always been my favorite. Some of them are also the ones that I find the most likely to be true. With how old our planet is and with how many worldwide cataclysms it has been threw whos to say what really happened long in its past. Even history from not so long ago can be lost or altered to suit ergain peoples naritives. The USSR did it when they formed, they went in and destroyed the history of small ethinic groups like the tartars, burning books, forced edu ation, forcing a new language on them, forcing athem to stop following there religous and spiritual learning and activities,killing off all the intellectuals so that the youmger generation wouldn't know their ancestors stories and heritage. So if this could happen in the last centuary how many other times in history have peoples entire history been wiped out like this or by a whole group of people being completely wiped put either by war and slaughter or by a more localized cataclysm. We struggle to learn things about people long gone by looking at scraps and ruins left behind from people who haven't existed for thousands of years. We use our own modern thinking to put together what we find to try and understand what the things we find are and how they were used. Archeologists form their views based on this, and then future Archeologists use their own views on top of the ones that came before them to do future work. All awhile other findings and new views come along that they refuse to even entertain, sometimes with it getting to the point where anyone with half a brain coul clearly see the truth they will refuse to see it because it doesnt fit there world view of how an eint people lived. There are so many ancient mysteries that we may never solve(unless you believe whatever the academics say about these said places). But that to me is what makes Archeology so interesting and fun. It amazes me that rather than use this as a plus and use it to get more people interested and get more both government and private funding to explore and learn as much as we can about this. Archeologists would rather prete to already know all the answers and shoot down anyone who doesn't completely agree than just say we don't know sometimes or god forbid admit they were wrong on occasion or give even a smallest minacule of a chance that someone not as "educated" as them, someone thats not an insider may have figured out aomething they didn't or proven one of there long held beliefs wrong.

Christianity isn’t about getting to Heaven. It’s about the restitution and reconciliation of all things to God. Jesus Christ died in our place so that He can justly forgive sinners for our sins against Him. The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ. This gift is available to those who repent and believe the Gospel. Even creation itself groans because it’s been subjected to futility, but not without hope. It waits upon the return of the Lord Jesus.

Morality was built into us by the design of our creator God and there is no other logical and consistent explanation for morality than that.
