you’ve gotta respect any band that are actually musicians. What I mean is at a live show (omg what a concept) they actually sound like their records. Its disgraceful these "artists" that can make studio albums but suck it live. The darkness is way underrated in north america, awesome band

Holy shit! Why am I only seeing this now! I can't believe this video was uploaded in 2012. I didn't even realize youtube allowed you to upload videos at > 30 FPS at that time. Amazing quality, both in terms of file format and music quality! Opening setlist obviously really reminds me of their Astoria gig in early 2000 (with some notable and amusing variations, e.g., at 4:50) . Great stuff!

The Darkness deliver..again. They seem to combine the best elements of the greatest bands of all time. The heavy rock tuneful harmony of Lizzy, the stage presence and humour of Queen, the originality of Boston, and they're British.

Thank you very much for taking the time to upload this! Although I'm a huge The Darkness fan, the feel of this live show almost seems boring. They have energy, but you can really tell Ed is an important ingredient to the band and their sound. Darby can play, he's a good drummer, but Ed's got that The Darkness groove!
