The Darkside were formed in 1989 by former members of Spacemen 3. 'Waiting for the Angels was released in 1991 on Situation Two Records.

Polytechnic of North London ("University of North London" from 1992)....we spent more time in the student bar and The Holloway pub than we did in lectures. This was one of those tunes we heard in both places as we knocked back our pints 30+ years ago. But the memories are as fresh as ever. "Veggie burger and chips" being screeched out by the old barmaid in The Holloway, competing for our attention with The Darkside!

Nice to see a video I made back then.... always difficult to make things a very small budgets....shot on super 8, I think , at Virginia Waters. Cant remember much about it , as I was also doing Spiritualzed and all the rest around that time. Don't know why some bits were so dark unless its the new grading that's been done..
