Another classic episode! Jake and Amy's not so horrible date, Boyle's confession to Rosa, Holt putting his foot in it with Terry's wife, and of course, the introduction of Boyle's nemesis: Sgt. Peanut Butter.

I love the Hitchcock and Scully bits. I especially love Hitchcock, especially since my introduction to that actor was watching Black Sheep Squadron when I was a kid (the juxtaposition of those characters in my mind makes Hitchcock even funnier). I always thought that a spin off with Hitchcock, Scully, and a detective to be introduced later would be a great option.

First-time responder: loving the B99 binge! Just to push back a bit against mainstream opinion, I know most people seem to like Boyle & all - & to each their own - but I gotta say, he really irritates me in Season 1. I just don't find any of his behaviour toward Rosa endearing or funny. Charles straight-up harasses Rosa over & over again, even after she clearly states she is uninterested, & I just feel so bad for Rosa. The poor girl hides in a coat closet for half of the episode because she is avoiding him after months of harassment & no one even seems to notice because Rosa is such a seemingly tough character. Pain meds or not, she shouldn't have to deal with any of that. It just seems wrong. But the rest of the episode - just amazing
