Have always loved this song. Anyone who has listened to their earlier songs can appreciate the improved technology as well as the maturity of their sound.

I really like this song, such atmosphere. About 5 years ago when I heard this what came into my head was a music video kind of thing where the Five were on stage in a club like setting and it's dark. People dancing to it in a slow motion kind of thing, like videos are sometimes. The closest thing I can come to describe the vision in my head is Hozier's "Work Song" video, only replace Hozier with the DC5, darken it up a little bit and take away some of the choreographed dancers and Away from the Noises playing. Probably doesn't make much sense but it's the best I can do. Just a neat song.

Have always liked this very mature sound. When I was in the Navy I ran a small radio station on board, "Johnny T on the DDG, your King Midas of Sound!" This song was played more than any way back in 1969-70!

Very grown up song from theDC5 ! Love it! Mike really did a great job with making Denis’ song a knockout! Sort of makes my heart skip a beat...and I’m 70 🥰🎶🥰

Definitely written around the same time as "Don't You Realize". Good tune!

I found the record in a music store in Yokosuka, Japan in 1969 or 1970. I was glad that where in America radio programmers had given up on the group they still had a strong following in other countries!

Great song, love Mik's deep sounding vocals, and as usual Lenny blends in perfectly. Thanks for posting.

I once owned this 45 rpm, having purchased it in a record store in Yokosuka, Japan (japanese label) in 1969 or 70. The b-side (I believe) was "3406". I was in the Navy and ran a radio station on board my ship The Waddell, DDG24. I played this song often on my radio show. The DC5 sound matured tremendously, but they were obviously very underrated toward the end (at least in the USA). They recorded alot of good music that has virtually gone 'unheard' by most of us. Thanks for posting this!

Taken from the November 1968 British Released LP The Dave Clark Five 5 X 5 = GO ! on EMI's Columbia Label . One side says "GO !" the flip side says "SLOW". Just to answer your question's . It is available in a limited edition CD the combines it with the If Somebody Loves You LP . I purchased it at the ROCK n ROLL Hall of Fame store ....

I never heard this song before, but, I like it. On a sad note, the 3 deceased members of the group, (Denny, Mike and Rick) are arranged in the same order (from left to right) in which each died. I was a big fan of theirs in their heyday, but, they didn't keep up with the changing times.

They did change their music a bit even going psychedelic, but it was too little and too late. As a Beatles competitor they had to innovate unlike say the Rolling Stones mentioned in the previous comment. The Stones were rooted in the blues.
