It's a mystery, the whole bible talks about Christ(not gain/prosperity)1Jn 2.18 - Nabal died because he was not pricked in the heart& not predestined to salvation. - He recieved message of peace but Nabal rejected it, one shall surely die.Matt10.4 Those who rejected Christ, know no Peace. -Like Nabal did not recognize Christ,1 who suffered for us. 1Pet 3.18. His heart is hardened. Abigail recieved heart to recieve message of peace

But why is it we are supposed to follow the Old Testament when it comes to the issue of family duty. However on tithe we don’t follow the same OT. This seems to be selective application and interpretation of the scripture.
