I really appreciate Eti being honest and I'm absolutely glad he doesn't deny the problems of the game. I know this may sound harsh, but I'm personally really fed up with some of the defs just denying that some things were a problem to a community (Because from technicall standpoint, they should be fine, but they weren't). This man doesn't get enough love in the community for doing all this on his own

From what I have heard if you talked about issues in the game no matter how friendly you may sound you can get banned on their DC server... I just got banned for cross trading but the thing is I don't even have access to the trading channel since I don't write messages there

I've played Creature's-Of-Sonaria since it's first few days out: I actually started as a mobile player and holy crap. The lack of proper control's and things we just didn't have the ability to do was insane. I'm overjoyed that even though I've got a computer I play it on mobile player's will be getting a massive upgrade!! I'm also so hyped for the new map and feature's coming with it.(?) Eti's a true hero-honorable mad-lad for doing all thing single-handedly for us. Thank's!! And thank you Zolva if you're able to come across this- you're alway's sharing with us the latest update's and reliable information about the game itself. You're an amazing person.

Ive been complaining about these exact issues for a long time now on the wiki- i’m SO GLAD they are being addressed and fixed- this is hopefully a better turning point for cos- since all these main problems are being fixed! Also, THANK GOD MOBILE IS BEING FIXED. Im stuck to play solely on mobile, and while its certainly doable and after a year now of experience i have my fair share of pvp wins, i cant wait for the controls redos.

I'm looking back at this video 11 months later to see what has come to past and what has not. It's sad to see almost all of these promises made by Eti/Xan were canceled in the end. It all started with the new map's cancellation around late February or early march. This news was devastating for players who looked forward to a better and bigger map. On a good note, mobile players received more attention, and now they have a mudroll button along with the grab and sniff buttons on the front rather than in the controls menu around July to October. But alas, the biggest bad news is the cancellation of the rewrite. Around mid October Eti/xan was unexpectedly fired from Sonar Studios. As a result, the recode was scrapped despite being 80% done. The reasons for his fire are made private and unknown to the public (and it was NOT because of the Snorlax-forgot-how-to-use-Amnesia meme; This is false information.) Floods and droughts are technically not canceled but won’t be added into the game anytime soon similar to burrows. Another disappointing this is that I miss Zolva's videos. I really enjoyed watching them. She disappeared with her last video being posted 7 months ago, and I have no idea what happened to her. Most likely, she got tired of Cos and stopped posting on KZbin or became busy with life which is understandable. (I can't say that is for sure. Tell me in the comments if you know.) But it would be awesome if she came back one day to make videos again. I remember watching this video the day it came out and feeling super excited that Sonaria would improve for the better. But now I know that my hope was in vain. From this point on, I don't think I can fully trust big promises made by sonar studios anymore when they most likely will get canceled. I don't want my hopes to be crushed anymore.

I have met him a few times, and I think he’s the best out of all the other devs. In my opinion, catboy was just irritating, the lead dev was okay, but out of all of them I’ve had the best experience with coders. It might be because they need to have lots of patience and care into their work.

Finally mobile gets love! I play on tablet, I haven't been able to play since it came out and it sucks seeing new creatures come in more and more. Might mention that the script that was scrolling down the screen past 10:54 was the primary script for Creature Data V2, not the old one causing problems. Oh, that's just *half* of it. The other half exists in another file. Edit: I will also add that we had footage of the character physics system but it couldn't make it in. Imagine setting up your photovore next to a pool of water and 20 minutes into the afk all of the water has been dried out or your creature is literally swimming in a flood. And yes, you could just move to a safer location but it would just be more of a hassle compared to the previous update without floods and droughts. However this does not hinder my excitement for the updates especially for the floods and droughts. Just saying that it could make AFking in Sonaria a little harder

I’m so glad that mobile player(I’m one) devices are getting some attention!!! To me it appears that mobile players get ignored a lot and some games it’s just simpler to play pc than mobile. In Sonaria, mobile players are at a disadvantage cause we can’t pick up players, use special abilities, roll in mud, and who knows what else because we can’t aim properly or do certain things without opening the actions menu and selecting what we need. We are definitely at a disadvantage in fights

It is sad news indeed that Xan was fired and the rewrite was scrapped. However One of the developers confirmed that Xan/Eti was not fired because of a Snorlax meme and that this was false information. They also said that even their own other developers on the team have made much worse jokes and memes before. The Snorlax meme wasn’t even the straw that broke the camel’s back. The real reason for Xan being fired is made private so we will never know the true reason why he was fired.
