What Ronaldo is lacking now is the ability to comprehend that his game has got to change if he still wants to play in Europe. He can’t just expect to sprint like he did in his 20’s and early 30’s, he can’t expect teammates to give him threw balls every time when he can’t reach them at this point in his career, he can’t expect everyone to play off of him when he isn’t that man anymore. Messi won a world championship by changing his game and deferring more to others than sprint threw 3-4 guys himself, fans of Ronaldo don’t tell him this, his family don’t tell him this, his managers and people that just want to feed off his money don’t tell him this. I'm a 3rd generation juventus fan from Italy, over the years we have seen incredible players - Del Piero, Trezeguet, Zlatan, Pirlo, Zidane, Tevez, Cannavaro, Buffon, Inzaghi, Nedved, Platini, Baggio, etc... - not gonna rank them in terms of how good they were, wouldn't be fair. I have to say however, I had never seen a player that showed so much dominance in games like Ronaldo did. If he was in a good day he was capable to completely crush defenses on his own. I will sorely miss him, but that's life. Players come and go, teams stay forever. But thank you Cristiano, my only regret is that you didn't come earlier. When we had a midfield made of Pirlo, Pogba, Vidal and Marchisio at their prime, with Pirlo making passes to him, he would have easily scored 50 goals per season. Thanks and good luck at Man U Cris.
