Hi guys. Thank you for sharing your day. That’s exactly like it was when I went up to the top of Snowdon. I’ve vowed to go back and set off at the crack of dawn to get up there early before the masses. I too didn’t go to the summit either. Cheers Dave 😀🥾⛰

Thanks for taking the time to watch Dave. I love being the only one on a hill or mountain but I have to say the camaraderie and general politeness of all those hikers was lovely. Seeing such a lot of people getting fitter, helping their mental health and enjoying our wonderful planet was kind of nice. We walked cadair Idris on the same trip, not the same day, and it was so much quieter and on the whole I preferred it.

Hi, really enjoyed your video, and was so helpful for our planning. Hoping to do the same route this march, hoping for some good weather and much less crowds! Regards, Ashley

Thank you Ashley. The crowds yes, so many people, although I did enjoy the camaraderie between hikers I guess we all want the mountain to ourselves or at least for it to be quiet. I would suggest going mid week and not during school holidays. Good luck, it's a great place, stunning scenery. If you get chance to, climb cadair Idris as well, it isn't difficult. We made a video on our channel and also a video of free things to do in llanberis which is the town close by to Snowdon. I hope your trip goes really well.

Thanks so much for all the info. Our plan is to go from 11-15 march leaving 3 days for hiking and all mid week. If the weather is good I'd love to hike all 3 days so you're advice on Cadair Idris sounds like a good plan. I will check out your videos too. I see you watched our Rydal Video. I don't remember what happened but the one uploaded yesterday is a duplicate! I think I messed up the dates on the upload and couldn't change them and then forgot to delete it, something like that, but sure iwe are all human!! Regards, Ashley

Thanks for sharing this hike. Great to see the rest of the Tubbas! You guys and Haze inspired me to do the Coast To Coast (which I successfully finished a couple of weeks ago and the little Windups and mum came to meet me on the cliff path near RHB). Now I want to do this (although maybe not on a May bank holiday!)

Hi mace. Well I'm so happy we may have played some part in getting you on the c2c. Snowdon has some of the most spectacular views on a clear day and is so worth it, I think there will always be lots of people there but do let us know how you get on. Well done for completing the C2C. Do you have any other plans for hikes?

@@tubbatravels I'd like to do the Cape Wrath Trail but time off work and away from family is the challenge there. Maybe if I win the lottery and retire early... So, thinking about the Cumbria Way. Maybe next year as I think May is the best time for these trips!

@@macewindupage Cumbria way looks great, all things Lake district look ace. I know what you mean so much to do so little time and then money arrgghhh. Keep fit stay healthy and we can be hiking into our 70s.😀
