You work so hard, all of you. You really teach us that having a famous KZbin channel is not easy, there are lots of work too. Thank you Gabbie, Josh, Ollie and all the team behind the scene.

So true! We get to enjoy the 15 minutes of fun and laughs. However, behind the scenes are tens-of-hours, days, maybe even weeks of preparation just for the food and to source the food, let alone anything else related to production.

Gabie deserves more credit! Cooking for legends!

"But I tried my best for that one bite" is really what a true chef would say It's great watching someone doing something they have passion and talent for

She prepared all the banchan and I know they probably didn't eat almost any of it. But it all looked so wonderful.

But you make it worth the "bizarreness" and make all of us happy. Keep going !
I was just thinking today about how sort of international you all constantly are. You, Gabie, have background in so many different places and so does Josh. Like itโs crazy to think how connected with so many different places in the world you both are. Itโs so fun to see! Behind the scenes footage from KE and Jolly videos is also cool to see as well. It really puts a different perspective on how coordinated you all are. ๐
Love all the behind the scenes footage you have for all of the meet ups. It shows the careful consideration and tireless effort that you put into the food prep & cooking. The love you put into and every dish shows in every delicious bite. Thank you Gabie

I'm so glad that you tried your best for that one bite Gabie, watching this episode again after the first time it came out. Brings me joy everytime! :)
So Iโm new to KoreanEnglishman, Jolly, and your channel. But I literally have been binge watching the last 5-7 years of content this week. This is the first time Iโm writing a comment because I am so moved by how much preparation you put into making sure they had a good first impression of Korean food. I remember watching the finished video that came up on my feed when it first came out and didnโt think much of it (thought a restaurant had prepared the food). Now having connected the dots, watched your channel, and seeing this episode, I have such a greater appreciation for the level of effort, time, energy, love, heart and practice you put into that day. You are the amazing powerhouse behind the scenes (supporting your husband and Ollie) in having made that delicious experience possible. Just want to say I acknowledge and see you and how much you had put into it (even you mentioning at the beginning of how nervous you were/how much you practiced, and stayed up the night before). My heart felt that. Side note, I may also pick up climbing and Korean cooking thanks to you and your videos (cooking was never my thing and Korean food takes so much time and effort that I have been more of an eater and cleaner than cook :)โฆ.AND I feel like Iโd never be able to get to my motherโs home-made level. But this video in particular is making me re-consider (bc who knows when I may have important guests like these in the future). Know that you have a new fan and enthusiast!
@EphesianRose ะัะป ะฑาฑััะฝ
It's such a unique effort, and a team effort. A true blessing from God to have the combination of personalities, values, and faith that this group has. Anyone can learn Korean cooking skills and even interview, editing, or marketing skills - but you can't go to school or do a program to learn the basics of friendship, of empathy for the people you serve, and genuine love and respect for ALL cultures. The team is as excited and respectful of famous celebrities as they are of ordinary high school students. Like making sure the Korean fried chicken was 'halal' for the students of Muslim faith at the British high school. Little touches like that are just so mindful and reverent. This is the key to their success.
I don't know if everyone watching this video understands how huge a star Son is. He is the greatest Korean futbol player of all time, one of the best soccer players in the world and probably the greatest Asian soccer star ever. He even dated Minah (from Girl's Day) and Soyoung from After School. Son is so popular in Korea that he was ranked no. 3 on the Forbes Korea Power Celebrity list of 2022 (after BTS and Blackpink). No wonder Gabie was nervous.
@misterluke42 ะถัะป ะฑาฑััะฝ
this is so true. Son is quite the idol for Asian community in football world. for Asian man like myself and as Liverpool fan, I always love Son.
@jamesrawlins7352 ะถัะป ะฑาฑััะฝ
@@misterluke4 I don't know if a lot of "K-pop" international fans realize how hugely popular the top athletes are in Korea. For instance, Yuna Kim - she was so popular that she was able to have a singing career - plus was the first to top Forbes Power Celebrity list. Park Ji Sung might have been even more popular than Son was in his prime (course playing for Man U had something to do with it.) Everyone who watches golf knows Park Inbee - Son is in great company.
@Iseeyou0165 ะัะป ะฑาฑััะฝ
Me! Before I got into K-pop, I love soccer (actually my older brother loves soccer and kinda drag me into it lol) and I only know some well known players but the one who gives me greatest impact is Son because heโs like a the only Asian in the soccer game and since Iโm Asian Iโm kind of proud even though Iโm not Korean lol and the fact he has a good sense of humour too and for me one of the best soccer player haha
@wen.2210 ะัะป ะฑาฑััะฝ
I think you missed out Park Ji Sungโฆ He literally plays for Man United when they were in their prime season
she was asked in masterchef like who she is coz she grew up in many countries and in terms of cooking she is very diversified. I think she is meant international, to bring Korea to the taste according to the world until they get used to the more traditional taste. I think that Gabie is really doing an amazing job to bring the taste of Korea to different nationalities and to make Koreans feel home who are outside of Korea. :)
@missiejin2 ะถัะป ะฑาฑััะฝ
Thank you for all your amazing efforts behind the scenes!!
I know most of your more recent videos kinda focus on KoreanEnglishman, but I love when you post the more Gabie-style videos, like the older one with lemoncake. They always feel like a special treat, look so beautiful and the atmosphere is soo lovely.
They probably do have the best foods in the sense that it's the best for their bodies. Not necessarily to be the best tasting and Korean bbq is probably one of the best meals in the world. So I'm not surprised that they liked it. The only thing I wondered when I was about to watch the video was how much will they be impressed haha.

Congratulations, Ms. Gabie, and to the whole team ๐ฅฐ you've all worked hard~
There is so much to do behind the scenes to get these amazing videos. You guys are incredible! We're still jealous of Josh having access to all of Gabie's stellar cooking though.
I watched the KE video with Son previously, the setup was wonderful, the flow was also smooth. Now after watching Gabie video, can understand clearly. She is the play maker to make that video successful. Behind the scene, practicing the skills to maintain the taste and food experience is totally superb. Congrats to all the team. We enjoy watching your videos.

You know what Gabie... I enjoy this kind of your video. I mean it's not just about 'entertain' people, but also seeing how you guys talked about it, how you worked about it. That's why I always like to see your vlog, the feelings truly make me happy. Life is so good, innit? There are always ups and downs but you guys still make it. Good job guys, may God bless you and Josh and the whole team. Sorry for my bad English. Have a good day Gabie ๐
omg Gabie! My mouth watered so much when you revealed that gaeranchim. That looked so good. I learned some stuff watching you make the banchans. Thank you!
you guys really working so hard .. especially YOU, I really enjoyed it while watching imagine if I can taste your food... I'm a KOREAN FAN of anything and You do this from the background I really appreciate you and am proud of you .. thank you so much for your hard work and making them enjoy the Korean foods and culture
