Steve is just different, and Im just happy to grow up as a kid in the 2000's listenin to Steve Vai's music since I was a kid. Aside from his crazy skills I also like listenin to him talk, he's so humble and inspirational, the stuff he talks about especially about life makes him sound like buddha xD. Well, maybe he got a lot of stuff studying eastern culture.

One of the most famous hits of the king of rock 'n' roll in an unrivaled gorgeous, phenomenal performance by Diana Ankudinova ( 18 y.o.) Can’t Help Falling in Love (Elvis Presley / DARK VERSION cover) Please react to Diana Ankudinova ! Meet the singer with the most unique voice (dramatic contralto with polyphonic overtones), reactors call her the goosebump queen. "Together with her tessitura, it identifies her potential voice type as dramatic contralto, the deepest, darkest, and most powerful contralto voice." (Wikipedia about Diana) Full vocal range - 4 octaves. The number of reactions to Diana exceeded the number of 12 thousand reactions. In my playlist section there are 3 playlists (5k+5k+2k reactions each).

Steve Vai is a unique individual. Like he tells over and over this isn't something he was a natural at like his teacher and mentor Satch. Steve has that showmanship on top of the tens of thousands of hours he's accomplished. Let's also not forget how he changed the guitar itself. His signature I instruments are absolutely top quality. And he has taste with each of his guitars. It's like each one tells a story. Love this dude

I have one of the first Ibanez 7 strings that they made after (I believe) Vai asked them to make one. It’s not a Jem, it’s a standard RG, they didn’t even have Ibanez brand 7 string pickups at the time so it has Dimarzios as stock. Really cool guitar.

those stings on the back are a harp, I love hearing him talk about how he created the blueprint for this beast, and when it got created and he first got to see it when it was finished. Steve Vai is Definitely in my top 5 favorite guitarist.

Definitely one of the greats! ... I saw him tour with DLR and on one of his solo tours. quite the showman but technically sound doesn't need to rely on gimmicks. check out his cameo on "crossroads" if you haven't seen it yet.

If you want to see the otherside of the spectrum when it comes to amazing guitars, check out Seasick Steve 'Diddley Bow'. Dude rocks out with a plank of wood with a string nailed to it. There is a car door handle and a can of corn involved, albeit superfluous yet somehow adds to the experience. It's not really a song to react to, so check it in your own time, Keep up the good works, bruv.

Sorry you got depressed - Again! 👹 I kind of understand, but as a 95% acoustic guitar player I'm kinda immune to that. Now, Alip Ba Ta, Luca Stricagnoli, and Lucas Brar are an entirely different matter. (Kind reminds me of myself after I went to see John McLaughlin acoustic in the early 80's - and Al Di Meola in the early 2000's)

We all have chinks in our armour I guess. There’s always someone who blows our minds. I guess it’s up to us to determine whether they inspire us or discourage us. I try to choose the former whenever possible.
