Saved 800 out of 1000 with the supplies of a 94 bed hospital. They did a damn good job.

Favorite part is draining the bureaucratic director of blood when he tried to get in the way.
@hoangtran47364 жыл бұрын
If you analyze the song more, you can even tell that the director is responsible for everything. The board kept the head physician for her ability to "keep costs down", alluding to industrial cost cutting measures, often at the risk of worker's safety. Then there's the part where the director tells the head physician that if she lied and reported that the fire was accidental and not caused by (the director's) negligence, all charges would be dropped, definitive proof of the director's guilt and cover-up attempt.

@@hoangtran4736 I think that's more about hospital running cost. No hospital director has power outside their hospital, and no little general hospital has a thousand beds. This was going to be an uphill battle no matter what.

It says a great deal about you that murderous revenge was more pleasing to you than saving lives with limited resources.
@MrJustonemorevoice2 жыл бұрын
@@drtoonie It does. When people are being hurt, someone has to look to the woods for the monster while others have the equally noble task of healing those who are injured.

None that I know of. Just a story about a doctor in a crisis.

Fish herself commented on another recording of the song that it's a collation of several unspecified historical incidents.

Disasters happen all the time. People have to make hard choices to save lives and sometimes wormy little rules lawyers get in the way and need to be buried in shallow graves.

I think we're about to find out - big time. And hospital directors will wish they only had a factory explosion to deal with.

Fish was a time traveler, it was about the firework factory explosion in Beirut last week. ^_^

Ooh I have no idea, besides that Firestorm was never reprinted due to a licensing dispute between Ms Fish and her previous record label. Wouldn't have been on Prometheus anyway.

@@bloodbiter @ron street - I don't think that's Leslie Fish. It could be. But Leslie Fish is an anarchist and I doubt she would be subbed to a conservative pundit channel.

@Leslie Fish - As much as I agree, I don't believe supporting power hungry people and their agendas that cause real human damage -- be they Trump or Biden -- through votes or lip service or even through listening to them is a good thing to do. Are you not the person who wrote Arizona Sword? While I suppose there is something to be said about knowing one's enemy, I doubt there is anything to be learned by being unironically subbed to the crassest liars in state and state-backed media. I expected better from you based on your work.

I know the song is about a factory explosion, but can't help but feel it's about Coronavirus. Or where we'll be soon anyway.
