You’d get a lot more value if you seen the whole game. Because deadlock on defense is deadly paired with cypher.

Deadlock on a team comp is pretty simple, you run her as secondary sentinel to hold two sites better than a standard comp could (cypher trips w stuns on C and 3 stack A for example, or on ascent Stack B-side with cypher-deadlock util A) on defense cuz the meta is site-hit focused rn, and then you run her on attack to make retaking really hard, since its a site-hit/retake meta. She is supposed to be "optimal" for the meta right now theoretically but it may or may not be the case in reality considering most deadlock results XD

Deadlock pick rate has gone dramatically up. Not specific to this video but she's great on ascent. The trips are good for stopping a choke and on offense the post plant is probably the hardest for retake vs the other sentinels
