This is one of my favorite movies ,I love Karen black .I was so excited when I heard arrow was releasing it with a new 2k transfer from the original negative.I was disappointed on the transfer to blu ray ,it reminds me of the previous Australian blu ray version ,both got it wrong , on that being said this is still a fantastic film of the 1920's hollywood ,underrated ,I wish more people would discover this film ,a true classic

Interesting. What do you see as the shortcomings of the Australian and Arrow transfers? What's your own previously definitive presentation of DAY? Are you comparing it to a 35mm print or earlier video incarnation? I've only seen the Arrow disc, and have nothing to compare it to.
