What an awesome message! What an awesome God we have! A few days ago I asked the Lord to teach me the truth about the Book of Joel. There are different ideas and beliefs out there! Thank-you, Dr. Hitchcock, as I have been waiting for someone to connect the dots between Peter's speech and Joel. I feel the Holy Spirit is a terribly neglected part of preaching. Many do not understand Him and His role.

Hi Rob, When you say 'views are opposed' - I take you mean the timing of the Rapture. If so the two positions they hold are not a barrier to fellowship. Jacob speaks highly of Mark Hitchcock from what I've heard him say in some studies. Thanks and God Bless. :)

We need to keep who Jesus is straight(The Lord, Messiah, Son of God, etc. etc. etc.) but we divide on so many issues that are NOT deal breakers! I don't believe anybody has the cornerstone on all of the truth, but I can get something good from so many different preachers. Even if I disagree on different areas of their doctrine.

But if one teaches pretrib wouldn’t that be not properly preparing the church for hard times? And since you’re sharing this point of view even though Jacob says otherwise it’s very confusing to someone who might be new in the faith, to hear two contradicting views in the same channel, one of them giving false hope on the wrong time. 😕 maybe you should stick to only one view.
