The late Clive Barker for Bafana x2 & Shakes Mashaba for Under 23 were victimized by SAFA administrators, hence our football never developed and reached its fullest potential. I blame the Players Union & Football Legends & soccer fans for keeping quiet. This under 23 squad should have played @ the world cup 2002, but Jomo's arrogance was allowed once again to prevail Nxx.

A pity after 2002 our football begun to deteriorate immensely by 2005 we were already in slump cycle, our politicians have a way to destroy even where not necessary. We failed to qualify for anything & became a joke to collect points from. It was when Shakes Mashaba was reinstated in 2014 that recovery was promising on to last for a short span till the rescue from Sundowns ambitions & Hugo's assigning, hope we build from this.

SAFA need to allow the likes of Shakes Mashaba to develop our youngsters again. Shakes started to coach these boys at u15 level and moved them to u17, u20 up to u23. He know how to maximize the SA footballers talent, he know which playing systems suits our players the best. The likes of Owen Da Gama, 10111 Zwane, Khan etc can also do this job

Did you know that South Africa is the only nation Brazil has never beaten by more than 1 goal margin,then they scheduled a last pre world cup preparation game with us,Gordon decided to field 7 defensive players and they beat Us for the first time by more than 1 goal margin but the last 15min of that game he introduced the attacking players and brazil did not reach our goals until the end of that game,THEY ASK SCOLARI WHY HE WENT FOR US AND NOT TYPICAL BIG EUROPEAN OR SOUTH AMERICAN SO CALLED TOUGH TEAM,SCOLARI REPLIED BY SAYING--we have never convincingly beat south africa before and not by more than 1 goal margin and i am disappointed that they fielded a defensive team today,but notice that they introduced their best players in the last 15mins and i used those last moments to evaluate the team as they outplayed us at the end and one wonder what would have happened if they fielded their best team--THE NEXT WORLD CUP BRAZIL GOT BEAT 7 IN A WORLD CUP FOR THE FIRST TIME AND AGAIN HE BROUGHT THE GAME AGAINST BAFANA WHEN LOCALS CRITIC HIS LAST PREP GAME CHOICE……its alleged that Somebody in the brazil camp passed an envelope to our coach to field such a nonsense 11 and Scolari did not know of this,remember at this point some players were paying to play at bafana as per coach request 🤞🏽😂
