Frankly, this game lost me when they revealed Hulk to be a slow, lumbering monster.

Hulk could have been great..... but like pretty much everything in this game... something was missing. :(

Will move on to Marvel Comics..... probably Spider-man 2... but Spider-man 2 will probably represent 20 hours of gameplay?? We shall see. ;)

I disagree with you. Ms Marvel popularity or lack of it was not the reason for this games downfall, after all Ironman and StarLord were not popular until MCU. The main cause of the failure of Marvels Avengers was the Live service and loot system design. If the game was strictly focused on Ms Marvel story with an open world similar to Spiderman PS4, with a deep character story on how Ms Marvel gets her powers, her internal struggle to be like Captain Marvel and cameos from the Avengers, inhumans and a lot of human villains instead of robots. I think the game would have succeeded in making Ms Marvel more popular along with her TV series. Monetization was also another huge problem in a game that the player base is 60% for kids. Imagine takedowns and costumes being for sale in Spiderman PS4

Iron Man did have popular runs in the past. Demon in a Bottle (in this very video).... Armor Wars..... there was successful Iron Man comic runs once upon a time. Heck even Star Lord had a successful GotG series in the 2000s.... which is what the GotG movie was inspired from. No such success with Ms Marvel....... ever. That was building a game on faillure. How can anyone expect it to succeed after that??
