I'm so excited to finally have an Indigenous Australian in the UFC, and what makes it so special, is that he is one of the best heavyweights in the division! I love seeing him represent us with our flag over his shoulders. And lets not forget his Samoan roots also! We have an awesome Samoan community hear in Sydney, and its really great that both the Indigenous and Samoan communities get to take so much pride in one of their own succeed at the highest level of combat sports! As much I'm just happy to see a brother succeed at a high level in what he loves to do, I can't help but take pride in being an Indigenous Australian when watching Tai do what he enjoys! Just like when I used to watch Cathy Freeman win GOLD in the Olympics, or watch Choc Mundine win his fights in boxing as the WBA Super Middle Weight Champion! I really hope Tia can go on to inspire a whole new generation of Indigenous Australians, and Samoan Australians to reach for the stars!

As a Pacific Islander corn beef is one of our favorite can goods after SPAM. You see alot of us eat this breakfast, lunch, and dinner. God I love this dynamic, I love the dynamic in all Cormiers interactions. He is such a fucking Alpha, he is so alpha that he has 0 to prove and 0 animosity or competition towards other males out of fear, so what remains is just pureness, sincerity and uplifting energy. You can see Tai is still a child and still growing into his personality but already he has amazing presence and a strong identity and recognizes real in Cormier and lets himself get guided.
