Ordered the DC Versus Marvel Omnibus (George Perez cover variant) from Amazon Canada last week but the book's dustjacket got crushed (by a centimetre off) inside the shrinkwrap towards the bottom being off (which was not Amazon's fault, as this was a manufacturing issue). Thought about returning it back for a replacement copy but decided to keep it and informed customer service at Amazon I would accept a partial refund to make up for the unexpected damage, which they gave back. Got the book at 38% off when I ordered it, plus another 15% off as the partial refund to make up for unexpected the damage to the dustjacket so now I got the book for just 53% off in total.

Picked up the Jim Lee cover edition at my LCS at their Black Friday sale, when they were first stocking it weeks ago I asked them about them since they ordered around 7, they told me that the distributor pretty much told them to order what they wanted as soon as possible that the print was going to be a one time thing, once they were out they were out. Thinking it was a marketing thing to move units I checked with another shop I frequent and the owner confirmed that it was going to just be a one time print of them and that's it.

Loved the new teen titans x-men crossover. Easily my favorite superhero teams. Darkseid and Dark Phoenix was epic. The Bagley batman spiderman is great too.

I generally dislike omnibuses. They are extremely huge books which are very hard to handle and to read. Like dictionaries, which are meant to be handled rarely. However, I will make an exception in this case, because this one has all of those crossovers I wanted to read when I was young but couldn't thanks to guess what. It's a pity it couldn't feature the awesome JLA/Avengers crossover (the best one by far), but even without that one, it's still a great idea to collect all those old stories in a single volume.

The funny thing is they did not collect the 3 crossover stories between Marvel and the Wildstorm characters that were originally collected in the crossover classics volume 3 which is weird because this characters belong to DC and are part of the DC universe now. The Stories were: Spider-Man/Gen 13 Generation X/Gen 13 Team X/Team 7 With that said Marvel and DC could actually do another omnibus because I didn't know wild storm did a couple of crossovers with Marvel not just the three I mentioned in fact, the other ones are: Backlash/Spider-Man: 1 and 2 Deathblow/Wolverine: 1 and 2 Gen 13/Fantastic Four #1 WildC.A.T.s/X-Men: The Golden Age #1 WildC.A.T.s/X-Men: The Modern Age #1 WildC.A.T.s/X-Men: The Silver Age #1 X-Men/WildC.A.T.s: The Dark Age #1 World War III (Heroes Reborn/Wildstorm Crossover event)

I got the DM variant. Fantastic book but have 2 slight issues with mine. 1) the FF superman pullout cover had a 1/5 spilt at the bottom(one if those things) and the other it had some weird tape half way up in the back. Somebody on another group had it as well. Weird. It was brand new and sealed too.🤔 Apart from that, came in great condition and cannot wait to read. :-)
