Lyrics :
HuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhHuuuhhhhhhhhhhhh
Got a call today, to see if I want to pay
To bring my body home, if things ever did go wrong
Wouldn't mind to pay, to bring my body to lay
In a place I do, in a place I do call home
In a tiny wooden box
Yeah
In a tiny wooden box
I was going around those days
Thinking everything was so damn good
So why'd it go away
For all the ones who are gone
We've been missing you
These feelings are
So damn strong
I was going around those days
Thinking everything
Thinking everything
Would be ok
HuhhhhhhhhHuuuuuuuuuh
What a time of year
It's very pleasant here
All the names I know
How the faces do grow old
All the hurting here
Each and every year
How we want it to we want it to we want it to be gone
So I'll write another song
Yeah I'll write another song
I was going around those days
Thinking everything was so damn good
So why'd it go away
For all the ones who are gone
We've been missing you
These feelings are
So damn strong
I was going around those days
Thinking everything
Thinking everything
Would be ok
If time heals everything
If time heals everything
If time heals everything
Then why do I
If time heals everything
If times heals everythingIf time heals everything
Then why do I
Still feel this painOh
Still feel this pain
I was going around those days
Thinking everything was so damn good
So why'd it go away
For all the ones who are gone
We've been missing you
These memories are Holding on
I was going around those days
I was going around those days
I was going around those days
Thinking everything
Thinking everything
Would be ok

I'm most typically a metal head. The first song I heard from these guys was In Hell I'll be in Good Company, and I was hooked. Great sound, great vocals, great melodies. If you don't love this band, you've got no soul.

Bluegrass and metal actually have a lot in common. They both feature a lot of fast and technical playing and a deviation from musical norms. As well as the emotional outpouring that both genres got from the Blues. I've known a lot of metalheads who love this band, like my mom

That's a good thing. I'm not sure why everyone wishes for these great artists to rise to the top of the music industry. 90% of the time, that means the band sells out, and starts playing music the industry tells them to play instead of the wonderful music they once played. I prefer it when these great bands stay below the radar

I just lost my grandfather back in June. He fought cancer for a little over 2 years and didn't want anyone to know truly how bad it was. Right at the end he couldn't even speak anymore, and couldn't even get out of bed, but he was still wanting to work. The man worked construction and raising cattle his whole life, as well as hunting, fishing, and cutting firewood, they always had a wood stove so that generally kept him busy. In the end he just needed something to keep his hands busy to the gave him a piece of string so he could tie knots, and a bolt and nut for him to thread on and off. Just so he had something to do. I work weekend nights and I got woken up by a call Monday morning that he was going downhill fast and that we should all get there. He passed the next morning with nearly the whole family there. Unfortunately time doesn't heal everything. Just makes it hurt worse when you look back on memories with someone who's no longer here

Lifelong rocker and metalhead here and yet these guys are easily one of the best three bands I've ever heard in my life.... In a world where everything's been done a million times before, it's hard to have a truly original sound that can't really be defined. This is it.

I have Bipolar Disorder & Childhood PTSD. I am a huge advocate for Mental Health Awareness & Education. I’m currently trying to get back into school. I have a Degree in Graphic Design, but want to now get a Masters in Psychology at 41-years old. I hope to help people, with counseling and through research. I can’t decide because both are important. But, most fields are one or the other. Anyway…I deal with & right off suicidal thoughts nearly daily. It’s something I just live with & have to win a battle every single day. It’s not something I WANT to think of or about…especially to the levels I DO. I cry for you & those you’ve lost. I know I don’t know you or them…but, man it hurts! I hate to hear of people losing the battle, to this horrible illness. I wish I could’ve helped. Ya know? Just knowing what they probably were going through, to Selma extent. I may not know 100% firsthand. But, just being to that point. I once had a revolver misfire, on me. It was in my mouth…by my own hand. I also have a vertical scar on my wrist. My sister had called 9-1-1 just in time. The cops tackled me, as I was cutting. Just a few seconds later & the cut would’ve been too deep & too complete. I’d have bled out, by the time anyone else could get there & do something. So, someone has watched over me & feel I have a purpose here now. And helping people such as your loved ones & yourselves as well is exactly what I feel I was put here, to do. Thank you, for sharing your stories. That’s not always easy to do. I hope the two of YOU are ALSO addressing your Mental Health, in your times of grieving, as well. I’m just so sorry you all have had to go through this. My eyes are welling up now (I’ve also lost a lot of people. I’m from NE Kentucky…where the Opiate Epidemic began decades ago. I’m 41 & have lost numerous people (I’m talking 35+) just to fatal drug overdoses & suicides. That’s a major problem. I’m so sorry!! I wish I could’ve helped & still do. I also hope you both have good & strong support systems, in your times of mourning & grieving.

Thank you for the new song. Long time listener of your tunes and thank you for keeping the band intact these years. I know that is really hard to accomplish. You will be proud later in life. Time is the key but the pain of losing friends and close family members does not go away. We relive it every day, or I'm sure that I do. It's a hurt that bottles of whiskey and other vices dull but cannot cure the memories of lost loved ones. We live on...somehow knowing our friends will feel the same hurt and pain when we pass. I hope to see ya'll in Dallas soon.

Huhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Huuuhhhhhhhhhhhh Got a call today, to see if I want to pay To bring my body home, if things ever did go wrong Wouldn't mind to pay, to bring my body to lay In a place I do, in a place I do call home In a tiny wooden box Yeah In a tiny wooden box I was going around those days Thinking everything was so damn good So why'd it go away For all the ones who are gone We've been missing you These feelings are So damn strong I was going around those days Thinking everything Thinking everything Would be ok Huhhhhhhhh Huuuuuuuuuh What a time of year It's very pleasant here All the names I know How the faces do grow old All the hurting here Each and every yеar How we want it to We want it to We want it to bе gone So I'll write another song Yeah I'll write another song I was going around those days Thinking everything was so damn good So why'd it go away For all the ones who are gone We've been missing you These feelings are So damn strong I was going around those days Thinking everything Thinking everything Would be ok If time heals everything If time heals everything If time heals everything Then why do I If time heals everything If times heals everything If time heals everything Then why do I Still feel this pain Oh Still feel this pain I was going around those days Thinking everything was so damn good So why'd it go away For all the ones who are gone We've been missing you These memories are Holding on I was going around those days I was going around those days I was going around those days Thinking everything Thinking everything Would be ok

Its hard to compare or describe. Its like Mumford and Son's just with more darkness.. Their cover of "you are my sunshine" is still my favorite of theirs so far though.
