THE DEADLY MAI MAHIU ESCAPEMENT ROAD #6

The Mai mahiu Escapement road is considered as one of the most dangerous roads in Kenya. The road was constructed by Prisoners of war{POWs} captured by the British soldiers during the Second World War.

I think people tend to misuse the term dangerous when referring to this particular road. Majority of the danger associated with this road is posed by drivers with their bad driving habits. A small percentage is accounted for by the physical features on the route occasioned by the road’s location on the slope of the rift valley escarpment. That notwithstanding, brilliant delivery of content
