A British court has granted Julian Assange leave to mount a fresh appeal against his extradition to the US on charges of leaking military secrets.
He will also be allowed to challenge American officials on how a trial would be conducted in the US if he were to be extradited.

@@ScandalUK Mainstream also doesn't really show protesters talking to each other. But here there's a sense of community because people were given space to show it. Cherry-picked quotes come across as random, isolated opinions from individuals with no connection to each other. This shows the public united by a cause, having polite, intelligent discussions and arguably embodying British values while the courts are failing to do so.

@@poesie6279 because the idea of Wikileaks was noble in releasing data that the govt didn't want the public to know, but Assange twisted it for his own politics, he didn't like Hillary so he timed the leaks to do maximum damage to her campaign.

If votes meant anything they’d never allow people vote. Candidates are millionaires backed by Israel. Somebody should expose politicians, isn’t a free press integral to democracy ? The US is so so censored it cannot be called a democracy. Americans are kept in the dark and lied to I’ve used Wikileaks it goes straight onto the platform no wait time is involved. Assange doesn’t control the timing if what’s loaded. ITN investigated investigated the death or Terry Lloyd so we’d already seen similar films of American crimes in the UK I guess the US media censored that case. Assange is not right wing 😂 he’s anti-corruption. Maybe Hilary shouldn’t have covered up American crimes in Iraq (there are millions more, the war itself was illegal).

Julian Assange's decision to release sensitive military information without redacting unnecessary details was misguided. While whistleblowing is a crucial act of accountability, releasing unredacted military secrets, including personal names, was a reckless and irresponsible move. In hindsight, it's clear that redacting sensitive information would have achieved the same impact without putting individuals at risk. As a result, I believe that those who wish to expose wrongdoing should be more strategic and clever in their approach, taking steps to protect sources and minimize harm.
