While the new stuff we got was absolutely incredible (been waiting so long for Gabi to get her head on straight and for Falco to confess!) I can't hide my utter disappointment that we basically got half an episode 😔 The first 5 minutes of the episode is just a repeat of the end of last episode, then we have a few minutes of just people running up stairs talking about the same things as last episode, add in the intro and credits and there goes 10 minutes of a 20 minute episode. Absolutely painful how much they dragged it out.

I counted the time that it took up. The recap was 3 minutes, and the Opening and Ending add up to 3 minutes. Each anime episode is 24 minutes. Subtract 6 and you get 18 minutes of content.

I loved the scene with Gabi, Falco and Colt inside the Cage warehouse. They showed multiple images of cages and I think they were trying to depict how all the AOT's characters are caged inside their thoughts and wrong teachings. In the last scene, they showed the teared up black armband and a kinda open cage in the corner. Almost everyone missed that part and I don't know if their intention was what I am saying but I loved it.

AOT is such a emotion. Remember how much Sasha loves meat?? She was such an idiot and foody person before. How she during the lecture was eating potato and when she was asked she said something like it is something that can be eaten, she even offered half a potato to the instructor. 😆 In one episode she stole the meats of her seniors and shared those meats with Connie, Eren and others and said when they will retake their village from the titans they will have enough meat. When Sasha was drawing her last breath, the only thing she said was "meat". Everyone thought Eren found it funny when he started laughing when he heard from Connie Sasha's last word. But he laughed out of despair and sadness cause he remembered suddenly how much she loves meat and wanted a cattle farm she said once. HERE the most IMPORTANT thing happened. Connie said Eren was responsible for Sasha's death and if he didn't drag his friends with his irresponsible and reckless attitude Sasha would've lived. I still remember the scene. Eren's eyes widens as he realised he was really responsible for her death. So if he were to take any action, even if it were for the good of Paradis or for his friends he still must not let them get involved with him, for his actions would only be through violence and bloodshed. So involving them is a risk of someone dying and he loves Mikasa and Armin the most. So merely locking them up won't be enough to make them believe he has changed and hates them. So he used harsh words against Mikasa and beat up Armin. Such a burden Eren had to carry all along knowing that he had pained the most important persons still alive. But still he found solace knowing that in the end those two persons he love the most will be safe. It doesn't matter whether he(Eren) lives or dies, but at least they will be safe.
