The 'Death' of the "me." How does it feel?

Thank you for sharing this! After your insights, (and those are greatest) my attention is simpy graviting in the now, observing ilusory "me", (but now with love & understanding) and energetic vibrations inside body, thoughts (with less drama), observing "my story" which brought me here with "your story", and of all others, (greatfull for that...) feeling that miracle of ONEness, accepting everything as it is...thank you... Feeling honoured... ❤❤❤❤❤

I took some mushrooms and had an ego death. I just disappeared and all that was left was awareness and that was it. It felt peaceful and I realized, for the lack of a better term, that I never had anything to do with anything and it never was me. It was like the weight of the world rolled off my shoulders and it was perfect contentment then I came back and it all ended.

Contradiction. If indeed you don’t exist, “who” would need to get past missing “whom?” Obviously, you still see yourself as a ‘separate entity’ (dualistic,) or “you” could not miss “another.” More importantly, there’s no ‘with non-duality’ or ‘using non-duality’ to help a “someone” _feel_ better. Non duality is just What Is, _not_ “How can I _use_ non-duality to ‘feel better’ (i.e. change things to What Isn’t.) Non-duality is non-therapeutic. I've been pondering on this for a couple of days. Hopefully you can answer my follow up question? I understand I am not separate and my family is also my true nature (consciousness) we are one, same as the trees and birds. But I cannot get past missing the character in my experience. Do you feel emotions when a loved one (character) leaves your experience?

Yes. You _understand_ non-duality. Intellectually. With the mind. "You" cannot get past missing "them" intellectually. "You" cannot get past missing "them" if & until the false "I"-self collapses back into Being or All-Energy. Then it is seen (by no one) that here was allows only energy, and energy has not been created, destroyed or 'separated' from All Energy, so "they" are no more separate from "you" then "they" were when physically in form.

So what IS??? Just nothing IS !? Who-what wants me to be the way it IS? There is no difference if I am or not the part of what is because there is no me. How come the appearance of the body I look like in the mirror and in other's experience...what is the point? I know, there is not the point...so help me understand that there is no need to understand, and what is the beauty of life (of what IS) when it could be seen othervise, without the body appearance feeling suffer or joy. Does anything matter??? Why it sounds hopeless? How to find it liberating ? At my 63 I am not a seeker any more (lost and confused human being traveling arround "collecting knowledge", looking for teachers to achieve clarity and a peaceful mind...) because it just hapenned I've realised I'll never know what i thought I could/should know. To feel free. Because there is no one to feel free? Flat line. Silence. Stillness. Beauty. Light. Darkness. Exuberance of life appears and disappears. Can I choose??? Can anyone?

Yes, Ema. It's not in the 'words,' there is no 'point,' and the mind cannot possibly understand. It only sounds 'hopeless' to the "me." You say you are no longer a seeker, realised "you" will never know, and 'it' just happened. That there is no one to feel free. So, as 'no one,' this shouldn't feel hopeless to you, but rather, as you mentioned, the beauty of all Life. But perhaps that's not what happened (to no one) and Ema's "me" is still in the forefront. Hello Teja, I am a father of 2 daughters. I love my daughters more than others people children. which is natural and can be observed in the animal world as well. in your opinion, Is this a “me” (ego ) that loves the daughters ? the love is real. profound. it is not superficial. so if this not an ego who loves the daughters, if it’s pure love, then why would it be so selective? a realized person could not love indiscriminately his children and all other children in the world. something does not make sense to me when it comes to non duality

Your last line, “something does not make sense to me when it comes to non-duality,“ contains your answer. Of course, non-duality does not male sense to ‘mind,’, because it’s part of duality. It lives in and as the dream of separateness, so it can never comprehend Oneness. It is verily the _function_ of the dream of separateness to see all phenomena (all things and beings) as separate from each other, to love some and feel distant or adversarial about others, to feel some are family and others are not. That is part of the dream. Your ‘pure love’ for your daughters is real, and it is a ‘taste’ of the unconditional love that is simply pure Being’s love for everything, equally, in Its Universe.
