You never know where it ends. Just remember that Yunjin was eliminated from PD48 at rank 28. It took nearly 5-6 years grinding away but she finally found her group & even stayed friends with everyone along the way, from fellow produce contestants to ppl she trained with (Aespa, Newjeans)

I believe Geffen will keep Iliya on the roster on an indie label as a solo artist, she fits that vibe. Hopefully Mei and Hinari go to HYBE Japan to be developed further for a future GG, look out for that! Son Sungdeuk saw potential with Karlee, so although she may not fit with the Dream Academy GG at this time, there may be something down the pipe. HYBE held on to the four members that eventually became part of &TEAM for almost 1.5 years - that's 2 survival shows later (I-LAND and &AUDITION). HYBE makes long-term plans. With access to a different system of training, even if they're not with the final group, possibly the trainees learn something new and take those experiences going forward.
