Ducati is cheating with an oversized engine in this series. Check and see.

The additional power comes from DESMO having no springs holding the valves closed, not an oversized engine. NO SPRINGS=REDUCED PARISITIC DRAG. Also, no valve float/flutter at higher RPMs.
