*italian champion; the ducati has not raced a full season in the world championship, but is set to make it’s debut in the 2025 season. However, they did get the italian championshi - which is something to be proud of as a brand.

They are entering mx at oposite ends of the scale. Triumph made a production bike for the people that will be available with goods parts back up to be raced and will be successful all over the place particularly targeting the American market. Ducati are just doing ducati starting at the top with a special expensive kit that won't be very available to many with a prohibitively big price tag and serivicing costs.

"Love". that's what counts, but this is how ducati develops new projects, and this is just the starting point. then the bike for the "AMA" championship will debut ps, don't forget that you're talking about a small factory that for years has defeated the English, Austrians, Americans and the politically influential Japanese industries, which manufacture 3/4 of the world's motorcycle production, but for years ducati has beaten them both in MOTO-GP & SBK, not only that, but it launches new trendy motorcycle models that are then promptly copied by everyone. ps, do you understand anything about motorcycles or are you simply a fan of the small world of "AMA" racing???😎😡🤬

The additional power comes from DESMO having no springs holding the valves closed, not an oversized engine. NO SPRINGS=REDUCED PARISITIC DRAG. Also, no valve float/flutter at higher RPMs.

I don't like 4 strokes, never owned one, only owned 2 strokes. Have a 84 CR500 in my garage......I might buy a Ducati 450 because the bike is Beautiful, and it's going to be historic.
