I had a holiday in NW a few years ago. Absolutely stunning place. We went to a slate museum and I was very impressed by the craftsmanship involved.

Not just in the way this video was made, but also in your approach to the site and the information gathered and conveyed about it, really shows how fascinated and passionate you are. Thank you so much for making this!

Great video. I was up there last week having not been for 20 years, but failed to get to Y Caban or Anglesey Barracks though, just so much to see, planning to return soon!

Such a stunning landscape and beautiful part of Wales, a lovey video guys, an interesting history, which shows how harsh and remote the conditions they had to work in and live. 👌

What a great day for an explore! Thanks guys, yet again. Wish you could come to NZ and check out the Denniston Incline on the West Coast. Obviously not as old as sites in the UK, but pretty cool. Good camera work.😊

Brilliant footage and I did a recent video with the drone flying around the quarry. One of many parts to come as it's an amazing place. Thanks for sharing. Definite sub from me.

Interesting that some things still remain. It must have been really difficult getting all that machinery up that mountain.

I thought that! I suppose much the same way all that slate got moved down

Loved your first video at the quarry and this more recent one. I’ve attempted to cover all the quarry over a number of visits but it’s too vast! Could you tell me where to find the saw mill and the workers cabin?

FYI the mountain is called Yr Wyddfa and the area is Eryri.

As far as I'm aware whilst the park authority changed it to this, it's still internationally recognised as Snowdon and Snowdonia

@@BeyondthePoint The reversion to the Welsh titles was made a few months ago. It's in Wales. Doesn't matter what other people call it.

Travelling by boat??? The Menai Bridge from Anglesey was built in 1826, around 50 years earlier than when these barracks were in use.

Why do people try to do commentary on something they know nothing about ,mwould of been better to just have some music and enjoy the pics
