Here's one thing you might not know. I dont react well to sucralose, so I was checking all of the drinks to see if they have it. You would think that it would only be a sugar replacement for low calorie versions, BUT NO!! Even energy drinks with a buttload of sugar still use sucralose to get even sweeter. What are they trying to cover up? There were like 12 different brands but only 1 had no sucralose

I cycle it lol. I won't pay for more than 1 and eventually 1 isn't enough to have an effect, so I stop wasting my money for a bit. I've never had withdrawals because I always keep my consumption below 200mg per day, I guess it's just not enough to really give me withdrawals. But this way I don't become reliant and I can still get the mental benefits when I need it.

The biggest downside of coffee is Americans hate it. They dump so much dairy and sugar into it. You can easily drink more than a 1000 calories in your beetus coffee.

Regional variation, like tea. In my area, yeah, coffee is a milkshake. I'd say the bigger problem in America is that we mostly prepare it terribly or go so over the top the price per pour is equal to a full meal.

The succes of energy drinks is not just marketing, a lot of people simply don't like the taste of coffee and would rather drink some energy drink instead. I drink Rockstar, Monster, Red Bull, NOS, and a few other brands whose names I can't think of right now, and I've tried Celsius. My favorite is NOS, but it's hard to find. Celsius is the worst. It has a weird aftertaste, no matter which flavor (I've tried several and peach is the least-bad), and it makes me feel kind of gross/sick a few hours later. I don't experience that with the others. I also make cold brew coffee. It's definitely cheaper. I make it strong, then dilute it if I want less caffeine.
@dlanor1534 минут бұрын
It's not addictive. You can "quit" anytime you want. The only reason people think it is is because caffeine-related companies told them so, and they were gullible enough to believe it. I "quit" and "come back" to caffeine anytime I want, because this "addiction" is not real.
@chrisja199822 минут бұрын
I hugely disagree with the fact that energydrinks don't have a edge over normal coffe. 1. You drink it cold. And that is nice. 2. They taste much better compared to coffe. I don't drink energydrinks. Don't get it, id rather have a soda. And im also not addicted to coffe tho.
