I'm 5'5
A lot of people ask me how long it takes me to make a science explained video. This one involved about 3 hours of filming (shoutout to Rashaun and Stephanie for that), 10 hours of research (my assistant, Max, took care of that), 10 hours of additional research and reading on my part and about 20 hours of total editing time in final cut. The best way you can support me and this work is by clicking this link:

Why not look into TRT? That is if you need it but never underestimate the power of diet.
@jambob169
@jambob169 2 жыл бұрын
@@medicusofthedamned Price mainly. The NHS has a very low bar to qualify for TRT, the alternative is private practice or men's health clinics, both of which want a consultation, a £250+ blood test, and then treatments run £90+ a month. Plus, you've got all the usual problems if you ever want/need to stop it - same as steroids you need to do PCT to get your body to start producing again...

A close aquaintance of mine openly was using steroids when he was younger (we both were 22). It was only for a short period (probably about a year with cycles) and he even openly talked about it with his doctor and got checked out regularly. Last year I got the news via friends of friends that he died of heart failure with 35 years old. Apparently there was no history of early death due to cardiovascular deseases in his family. Might just be coincidence but I still sure as hell am glad that I did not give in the temptation after seeing his gains. Rip to him and rip to your friend, too.

Amazing, the guy takes the time to fully break down PEDs, and through simply providing the data essentially proved that he's natural. Yet, still an overwhelming amount of hate and negativity. As someone whose main focus is on informative and science based content, I GREATLY APPRECIATE what you do. Aside from the information being on point, the videos themselves are always extremely well done. Thank you for taking the time to provide the most entertaining videos you can while still keeping the focus on the factual content.

I just want to put this anecdotal case out here. I have had low T (sub 200) since i was 23. When I was 30 (on my birthday) I was okayed to start testosterone cypioonate injections twice a week (total of 200mg/ml). This would get my levels up to about 900-1,000. In the 5 months before this, I was hitting the gym hard and dieting clean (ZERO CARBS, ZERO SUGARS, just chicken thighs, sprouts, and kraut - that's it... Oh and eggs for breakfast). The day before I started testosterone I did a body scan. I was 17% body fat.. The day I started testosterone, my coach changed my diet to now include carbs (1 cup of rice every meal). After 1 month, I went in and was down to 12% body fat and put on 12lbs of lean mass... 28 days. Now, I didn't start testosterone for fitness reasons. I actually found out because I went in due to libido issues, focus/memory problems, and a lack of energy as well as mood swings. After 7 years, I had enough and my marriage was suffering from it. The fitness aspect was a big perk. It's hard to tell how much the testosterone contributed and how much the carbs contributed after being on Keto for so long, but it was huge. A month later I got a scan and I have put on 4lbs of lean mass, and am at 12.4% body fat. Same diet. 6 meals a day, about 3,000 calories, chicken, rice, sprouts (with dinner being steak, sprouts, and kraut instead). Still zero sugar, zero alcohol, zero cheats. I guess I would not be 'natural' even with my levels around 900, but I can tell you when my levels were below 200, I didn't feel like a man at all. I felt like a zombie, and the work I put in at the gym was frivolous. It's great feeling alive again... My relationship is better and I can remember things so much more clearly now. I'm not using anything outside of my Dr prescribed and military drug tested TRT, but I know a lot of guys swear by stuff like tren and dbol (??? is that still a thing ???), but hey - all the power to them. Like I said, it feels nice to see results of my hard work, but for me it was the nootropic and libido effects I wanted corrected.
@Shvabicu
@Shvabicu 2 жыл бұрын
Keto is extremely suboptimal for performance. It's a fad diet, but has its uses for adherence reasons, since it can be more satiating and therefore lead to better adherence during a cut at a caloric deficit. I'm sure your results are mostly from getting back to healthy t levels, but there's a reason world class athletes don't do keto and carb up for comps (beyond water weight manipulation).

Tren And Dbol Are Still Useful. Noticeably Tren. It Doesn’t Aromatize, So You Won’t Risk Getting Gyno From It, For Example Dbol Will Make You Huge Way Faster Than Even 500mg Of Testosterone Per Week Would Ever Do

What I hate is that people accuse you of using steroids. But they say Christian Guzman is completely natural, yet when you stood next to each other in a photo you posted on instagram a while back, he was as big or even bigger than you. But because you are short you appear bigger than you really are compared to others (not that you are skinny). I do believe you are natural.

I went on TRT about 3 years ago because of hypergonadsim. It has changed my life and have had nothing but positive results. Energy levels, libido, well being, and motivation have greatly increased.Blood work, cardio, and strength have greatly improved. I am checked every 6 months with blood work for issue that come along with being on testosterone. I feel testosterone has gotten a bad name because of the abuse and the testing on the abusers that result in the negative conclusions in journals that are published. With therapeutic levels and staying in the normal level range, I feel there are large amounts of positive results. If you get a chance and haven't done so, I would love to see you create a video on TRT. It has totally changed my life and brought me out of a horrible time cause by low T. Generally, effects are dependent on which steroids used. Ex. Taking testosterone will 100% cause permanent masculinization to certain features like the voice will drop, clit will grow. Most other changes are temporary, body fat can redistribute back to a more female location and breast tissue can come back if a person stops major physical activity for a long time. Aside from the effects of testosterone I don’t know a whole lot about other steroids used as each individual thing can have multiple effects. I feel I know a bit about how T effects female bodies bc I’m a ftm trans dude.

There is some data, but I didn't want to make actual medical recommendations in a video. For some reference, "total testosterone levels above 500 ng/dL do not require substitution; patients with serum total testosterone levels below 300 ng/dL will usually benefit from testosterone treatment." This paper talks more along the lines of what "healthy" medical use to treat low T is, but doesn't make specific dosing recommendations (probably because that will be highly individual) www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2701485/

While this can cause side effects, most if not all can be mitigated through ancillary drugs and other strategies ie giving blood for high rbs, aromatase inhibitors for high estrogen/high BP, blast and cruise if choosing to stay on for expended periods of time/for life.

It would be interesting to see data on a non bodybuilder who doesn't take crazy cycles and doesn't go on cutting diets with dangerous drugs or use excessive amounts of steroids. Rather a person who uses 300-500mg of only testosterone for 8-12 week cycles and then goes off cycle resets their receptors and lets their endogenous hormones come back to homeostasis. Problem with almost every bodybuilder is they never go off steroids and if they say they do go off cycle its for such a short period of time and causes them to use excessive amounts due to not letting their nervous system to reset. Any serious weight lifter will see an increase in heart size and arterial wall thickening probably not to the degree of a steroid user but still. Also whenever you gain a lot of weight quickly your blood pressure will rise no matter what, I have the same thing happen when training naturally when on a bulking diet. 16 lb increase in a year based on an experienced bodybuilder is 16 times more than you could realistically expect from him? So your saying naturally he could only expect to put on 1lb of lean muscle? Maybe I'm understanding wrong but that doesn't make any sense. Yeah most bodybuilders will have heart problems down the line but that's because in order to compete you need to go to extremes to place in contests which is definitely not worth it. The use of steroids does increase well being and after cessation of steroids there will definitely be a down period that may be associated with depression. It isn't because of body composition changes its more due to the fact that your nervous system isn't being stimulated by those hormones any longer. I'm not sure this is very well known among steroid users or in studies but based on my years of research I can assure you this is true. Gyno can be taken care of with the use of certain compounds and with the use of Pantothenic Acid (B5) at 1-2grams you can hinder acne for the most part and keeping blood plasma levels even with longer esters. I wrote all of this before seeing the end of your video in which you address some of the validity of these studies. Good video!

As someone who used testosterone injections illegally for gains, at a young age (17). I can personally say that there is a 50/50 chance you'll get big and stay big, or get big and die. Bodybuilding has always been scam. This does not mean you cannot gain some muscle and lose fat, but the scam lies in that very few people have the genetics to be jacked. Most people do not and the only way they could look muscular is by using roids. The scam happens because how muscle your body naturally carries and how much it can build, is dependant on 2 genetic factors. Bone structure, which not even steroids can change. The bigger/wider your bones, the more muscle you wil lcarry by default. Your hormones, the higher your testosterone is, the higher your ability to build muscle. Though, you can increase it naturally, this increase is minimal and it won't suddenly make you muscular or have bigger gains. This is the truth of bodybuilding. Many of us were not born to make it in this game. This is fact. It easier on the ego to believe that you can achieve something, if you copy what the winner does, but you cannot copy or recreate someone elses genetics, and this is hard pill to swallow.

What amazes me is that people who are not willing to put the effort in training themselves and because of that don't make progress like those who do put the work in and do get results like Jeff and so many others. Claim that to look like Jeff you have to be taking steroids. That is plain jealousy to me. Do not not forget that Jeff has a black belt in teakwondo and has been practicing the sport from age 5 to 15 to then do basketball and going over to bodybuilding and powerlifting. That is a lot of athletic background before even growing muscles that gives him a big advantage in the bodybuilding sport beforehand. + do not forget the fact that he has been training for 12 years in bodybuilding/powerlifting and he probably reached his genetic potential to grow and can only improve himself on the details. Before telling someone is taking steroids do a background check guys. And before accusing someone of being on steroids because how he looks is not achievable in your eyes. Go to the gym and put in the work for years yourself first and stop being lazy. Great video Jeff. Thank u for the 50+ hours of work put into this! ✊️👊

A week into my first cycle (sus 250 500mg/week) I’ve already gained 7 lbs(probably 50% water retention) and my recovery is insane. I can do two a days now and feel like I could work the same thing the very next day. My overall feeling of well being is way up and I feel amazing. My strength feels great, just a week in and my “bad days” feel like the best “good days” in the gym. It’s probably the best decision I’ve made in my fitness journey for my personal goals.

12 nmol/L Test level is "normal" for a 70 yo man not for a guy at your age ! At your age testosterone levels should be above 30nmol/L. You have to check it again and if your test level is still that low, you need to be on TRT and take testosterone shots. Is that your values after a cycle ? If so, how long after cycle did you get that lab work done ? If more than 6 months post cycle, than you probably damaged your central nervous system (steroid induced hypogonadism). Your SHBG is also high and therefore the low total testosterone level you already have is bound to that SHBG and free anrogen index value shows that your free testosterone is even worse than your low total test level.

So, anabolic steroid using, according to the research , is associated with a lot of potential healthy problems. I think for the average person, who uses weight training to develop a nice body composition and improve physical development, is not worth the risk of taking steroids.

I'm 30 and my free T was 7.8 and my overall was 264. My quality of life was shit. My ability to build muscle and lose fat was incredibly difficult even with a great diet and workout program. I have since started receiving weekly shots of testosterone cypionate from my doctor and it has changed my life. It is an important decision to make, and should not be made lightly. However, for me it has been life changing, and I can't imagine having to go back to how I felt before. This is just my personal experience and yours me not be as pleasant as mine. Great video by the way.

Your test results show that you're 50 ng/dl away from being in "low testosterone" range. Also only 3 FAI points away from the "low range". I'm not saying get on test but I am saying if you doubled you testosterone you would still be in a normal range.
