In Ontario, (Windsor), we grew up blessed, and no one told us, why the world was the way it was. When the economy crashed, and the drugs came, it was unbearably hard to deal with. When you showed up too paint, we were demoralized, and we need to know the good, because without warning we got the bad and the ugly.

I went to Detroit for a week back in 1998, dang what a ghost town, it was the weirdest feeling ever especially since I’m from NYC. I was working just outside of Detroit City but we went into the city to eat a couple of times, I believe it was the Marriott Windows of the World restaurant, during the drive through the city the streets were literally empty and I was waiting for one of those hay balls to come rolling by like in the western movies. It was definitely one of the most poverty stricken places I’ve ever been to, if not the most poverty stricken, I’m not certain how things are there today but hopefully it’s a bit better than when I visited.

I love loving in Oregon but if your not in Portland there's not a whole lot of big cities to get up like this. Don't get me wrong there are so mamy great spots but as far as having it in a spot where people can see it and it sticks is a challenge without it getting buffed. Most places that stick aren't seen by the public
