it's sad how these "judges" or "coaches" or whatever they call themselves acted with Wolf ( the sound of silence ) they made a huge deal out of guy for turning even though he didn't have any spaces left on his team but he knew that a voice like Wolf just can't go by with no turns..

The first guy wasnt very low but he used his false chords to create the lower harmonics making it sound a 5th lower. Most of them were barely hitting a G by the way so not that low but then again bass singers are in high demand in musical theater so they would have already had a good paying gig.

Women are a different standard id say, but you’re right. They are in high demand, i feel the best recognized performances are higher ranges, and i feel a lot of guys are shred away from singing because singing low isn’t seen as skillful to average listeners.

I would of thought that 'deep' voices ment DEEP Voices? At least half the male voices are at best baritone and in many cases tenors, while most of the women cannot in anyway be described as having 'deep' voices.
