So many stories about the kid growing up here in boston too many to put in a small post..I will just say..greatest naval aviator ( according to john glenn) all time...greatest fisherman all time ( according to his peers) and of course the greatest hitter all time.l miss ted ..yesterday they had the annual jimmy fund telethon on radio.ted was very very much involved in the jimmy fund , he would do things for the kids and demand no press or attention for his efforts.99' all star game..enough said..an American hero ,icon, character, creative user of the English language(lol) and true baseball God....406!...out

Great showcase of one of my favorite Hall of Famers. I have his 58 All Star card and one of his 59 Fleer (game winning HR in '41 All Star game at Tiger Stadium). One of my favorite modern cards of him is the 2007 Topps Distinguished Service insert card. I also had to get the 1993 Ted Williams Co. set he did in 1993. Is a cool set despite some of the errors within.

Every time I see something about Ted Williams I think of the Ted Williams museum which was built in Citrus Hills, Florida. It was a beautiful museum. Problem was it was built in the middle of nowhere. When I was there it dawned on me as nice as the museum was I couldn't see that many people going to it. It was built in the retirement community that Ted Williams lived in. Sure enough I was right. It closed after a few years . Not enough people went to it.

And plain and simply which one is a good one to put into my PC...im a huge YAZ collector so it took some time to navigate thru his cardboard history.lol..thank you for this video, now i can start looking for a card of Ted to be the first in my collection....and i think you should do a YAZ Showcase sometime

Great vid with a slightly different spin & tons of info! Williams' Play Ball cards are kingpins of the vintage realm. Your Bowmans are sweet too!
