The fact that the sequel Alien Isolation was a FUCKING FNAF clone is pretty sad like I guess the devs realised that they couldn’t follow up isolation in turns of being another horror masterpiece so they figured “Hey FNAF is super popular, we could take what that game did and do it ourselves.”

I think it's more so how poorly AI sold, they most likely didn't get the budget to follow it up properly. But there are some rumors they are making an ACTUAL sequel.

It's not the same developers though. Creative Assembly made Alien: Isolation and never worked on another Alien game again.

Man, this is honestly a really cool concept, being trapped in a small room and having to deter the alien while keeping him away from your crew mates. It's a concept I wish was better fleshed out.

I think this is actually a really good formula for an Alien game. The mechanic involving some room of error through the game with having to look after the crew members is something I think FNaF lacks.

Man I remember being so disappointed in this game. I’m a FNAF fan, but Alien Isolation was its own kind of monster. The fact that it didn’t get a proper follow-up (even if it fell short of the original) still irritates me. I would love for more survival-horror/story-line games to take Alien Isolation’s model and implement it into their own games. (ESPECIALLY the AI and it’s ability to learn.)

My soul was crushed when this game released because it meant Alien Isolation 2 was truly a pipe dream. That's even more so now though that everyone involved in the games development is no longer involved with Alien.

I remember buying this game on ios and never once getting it to work. it would only ever reach an infinite loading screen despite the fact that my device was cleared to play it. Very sad about that, I think I would have really enjoyed it.

i quite love this game for being simple while changing up things for a really interesting game. fnaf + RTS is pretty neat idea.

I remember finding some years ago a fnaf fan game called something like ''Nights of Illusion'' which at first looked like some generic minecraft but fnaf game but ended up having some weird rabbithole with its own wiki and stuff. No clue if anyone ever talked about the nights of illusion rabbithole, I just remember having it as a memory from the past

Android or even human enemies wouldve made for a good dlc. Also the manufacturing colony mentioned at the end could be a good place for a true isolation sequel!

I've got Dead by Daylight brainrot rn so let me ramble about all three series for a bit XD. From what ive seen the Alien DLC for DBD is one of the reasons Scott decided to allow the DBD FNAF collab to happen (can't refind where i read this so it could be wrong, forgive me lol). The Alien DLC is one of the best DBD did in my personal opinion, they really nailed down everything, they are also quite respectful of the original lore (at least the first 2 movies). Thank god you found the Scott quote about him being a huge fan of the Alien series because i couldn't find that either lol, but ithe info about the collab would make sense because of this. It's gonna be funny seeing both Alien and FNAF characters interact in some "official" way especially after learning about Blackout. Great video!! you deserve more subs your videos are really well made! 🧡
