I was seven years old when this tune came out on the radio....I'll always remember recalling my mom & dad hanging out on the beach watching us kids frolic in the surf all the while listening to this tune on their portable am-radio. A wonderful memory; looking forward to seeing them again when I'm called to heaven

I went to see them in concert, (blessed) this song as well as a lot of other oldie song's always bring tears to my eyes . I remember when my wife and I would sit and listen yes to this type of music when we were in the shadow, clean the house together or go for a drive she's gone and no longer with me after 34 years of heaven and the tears now come from the good times, and the bad times, we spent together thank God for this type of music when music was music

LYRICS / TESTO; Many guys have come to you With a line that wasn't true And you passed them by (Passed them by) Though you're in the center ring And their lines don't mean a thing Why don't you let me try? (Let me try) Now, I don't wear a diamond ring I don't even have a song to sing All I know is La la la la la la la la la means I love you Oh, baby, please now La la la la la la la la la means I love you If I ever saw a girl That I needed in this world You are the one for me (One for me) Let me hold you in my arms Girl, and thrill you with my charms I'm sure you will see (You will see) The things I am sayin' are true And the way I explain them to you Listen to me La la la la la la la la la means I love you Ooh, baby La la la la la la la la la means I love you The things I am sayin' are true And the way I explain them to you, Yes to you Listen to me La la la la la la la la la means I love you Oh, you'll have to understand now La la la la la la la la la means I love you Come on and take my hand
