Always great to watch your new uploads. So inspiring. I'm going home to Bacolod for a one week vacation tomorrow and I can't wait to check all the food spots I used to frequent to. In addition, I'm trying to complete an Ilonggo song entitled "Riverside" (higad suba) which is inspired by my longing for Bacolod. I haven't been there since the pandemic hit. So excited! I left Bacolod before El Fischer opened. But Pancit Molo has Ginamos in it. It is part of Batchoyan. It comes from Iloilo. And it is great to see that the default way to communicate is still English with people from Bacolod. 😅

Ay inyo na gali ancestral na balay sa tupad ka Petron sa may dalan Mandalagan? I never knew those gate walls' designs were your late grandfather's initials. All along I thought it was somehow Chinese-style like ornamental designs. Chef those walls must be preserved because it represents a part of Bacolod's history!
