I opened the door to demons by dabbling with an ouija board when I was 8 yrs old. This came on the heels of being frequently tormented by demons in an area of Hawaii where we lived just before that time, where there were rumors voodoo was still practiced by a local witch who put curses on the "Haole's". At 8 we moved back to the mainland which is when I opened the door to demons. After playing with the ouija board several times, strange things started happening like the furnace switch getting turned on and off by itself and a frequent, unnerving evil presence of a being that I would feel was watching me at times - it could literally look into me and into my soul. When I was around 13 I became very rebellious and started doing drugs. It was around this time that I was severely tempted to buy a book on witchcraft because I wanted that power. One morning my younger sister woke up to find a perfect ring of water 6" wide all the way around her bed on the floor and on the ceiling. This happened right as I was toying with the idea of getting involved in witchcraft so I knew that this was connected to what happened - the demons were trying to lure me into it. It so freaked me out that it had the opposite effect because I actually backed off - even though I was still fascinated with the occult. 4 yrs later as I was deep into drugs and hard partying, one of my cousins who used to do drugs with me was born again and began following Jesus. I was intrigued with all the things he shared with me so I got a Bible and started reading it. God began speaking to my heart POWERFULLY through the Gospels. I had many powerful experiences while reading the scriptures - it was as if God's word was reading me. But I still had doubts. One night I was in my room tripping my brains out on acid as I had done many times when the same evil presence I had felt as a child that could look into my soul came through the wall in my room. I couldn't physically see it but it was there and NO it was not part of the acid trip - although the acid did make my fear and panic go off the chart. So I prayed and said "God, if you're real and everything I'm reading in the Bible is true, PLEASE make this go away". Immediately the evil presence was gone and I felt a warm sensation move from my head down my body and drain out of my feet. Within 10 minutes I was stone cold sober and fell asleep. Let me tell you that when you are on blotter acid this is IMPOSSIBLE. I knew at that point that God was real - NO MORE DOUBT and that demons were powerless whenever God intervened into the situation. 6 months later I gave my life to Christ. A year later that demon came back and so tormented me I had a nervous breakdown. It took a year but eventually I got TOTALLY DELIVERED from it. That was 40 yrs ago and since that time I have actually cast evil spirits out of people. Jesus can deliver ANYONE from ANY THING as long as they are willing to repent and give their life to Him.

Amen!!!! I was a heroin addict for over 20 years, when one day after shooting up in the cemetery where I always go t high at. I started praying and asking God to please take this addiction away. It didn’t happen on my time but it did happen on his time. I went to jail again for 42 days and coming home from jail, I felt so good that God took the taste of drugs away!!!! I have been clean and sober now for 8 years!!!!! I love Jesus and our Heavenly Father in Heaven!!!! I am always giving him thanks for all of his blessings ❤

Bob, I just finished your book and I've viewed videos accounting your ordeal.I have no doubts your story is real.There are many of us who are dealing with these same issues. How ever, many of us have resigned our selves to not ask for help for fear of ridicule and harassment from leaders in the church.We are resigned to pray on our own to keep these entities abated. This works sometimes but they still take their toll physically and emotionally.I applaud you and your family for sticking with the fight and telling your story.My prayers will be with all of you.

See, here’s the thing. Jesus gave US authority. His name and His Blood is enough. If something refuses to leave, it’s because it knows fire isn’t coming from your spirit. Even though the demonic does NOT know your thoughts, it knows if YOU know your authority. They see fire when you command them to leave and know. This is a personal problem, not Jesus’ problem if they don’t leave. Be vigilant like the wise virgins, sow into your spirit, pray in the spirit, yes that means in tongues, and build yourself up. They mock you not because they’re superior. They mock you because you have it all and haven’t woken up and realized it. Call upon the Holy Spirit to slap you into revelation, or else you’re going to lose these battles, succumb to illnesses, and bear financial loss. The Lord ALREADY healed you, ALREADY answered you, ALREADY gave you the keys.

I just watched another video I stumbled across about your story and Im from pa so I was intrested,as I watched I realized that you all expierenced what myself and family went tru aswell. I was raised evangelical Christian too and didnt have anyone to turn to. This evil was tearing my entire life apart . I finally got the help I needed aswell but this entire journey has left me having a way broader open mind to what Satan and his demons are capable of and this is not a game to play with .I agree with you in saying Never messwith this stuff and stay vigilante in your walk with the Lord. Its said that demons know the future. I wonder if your ancestors had something to do with that land that had drawn you to it. Or if the demons had some sort of beef with your ancestors and they are trying to hurt them by hurting you. Maybe your ancestors hurt them or banished then our whatever the case and now they are getting back thru you. That house could have a portal and that is how they get thru and somehow making you feel the way you do about the house you bought it and they were about to get to you thru the portal cause(obviously)you live there! Could it be you are the reincarnation of someone who fought them in some good and evil battle and now they want to hurt you and your family and we all know they have to take certain natures to do that now. *_Since Christians learned from Christ what Demons actually are, we have had many early Christians writing about them. Thomas Aquinas wrote THE SUMMA THEOLOGIA & he had a vision of Christ who said to him, "You write well of me Thomas". He writes in the chapter on Angels that the fallen ones, Demons have all the knowledge they received when created but no more whereas those loyal to God continue to receive knowledge from God just like a person who cuts himself of from God wont receive Gods Grace but those in good standing with God will receive Gods Grace. So he writes how the Demonic have been watching mankind for so long that they can tell what move we will choose, they also may make a person sick only to then "heal him" giving the impression he has powers like God. And also when the Demon said, "WE ARE LEGION", he was speaking in a time & place when everyone knew a legion was 6000 roman soldiers so a Demon may hear a plan & use this to make believe he can foresee the future. Theres many analogies that use the Romans practises in the NT. Only God knows the future, as the man Jesus tells us when He says nobody knows the time but the father. And Christ is the image, the manifestation of the father so is one with Him & the spirit~God alone knows. [THE MYSTERY OF THIS HAUNTING HAS BEEN SOLVED. THE DEMON IS FOUND IN SCRIPTURE & MOTHERS SACRIFICED THEIR BABIES TO IT. You were talking about how maybe you should have left and thing to remember is there was no guarantee that if you'd left it wouldn't have followed You? I've heard about many such cases where the entity wasn't bound to the house... So no sense in beating yourself up too badly...

At 0:38 the supposed blue smoke captured, there is evidently a dog peeping in to the cctv. So they had a dog, so how he can say, as they got marks on their body, it's not a dog bite or scratch mark?

He knowingly placed his family in a home where he knew before buying the property that it was huanted and the previous owners took $20,000¡less than the asking price and moved out very quickly. He purposely put his family in danger all so be could record the encounters and document them. This wasnt a case of " this is our home and you are intruding " because the demon was in the house way before he bought the house so i ask in this situation who is the real demon.

I had a haunting in my previous home. Never feels like Hollywood, and you tend to explain it away , until it gets overly obvious and multiple people are affected. You can't just pick up and move out 🤷‍♀️....I am not wealthy. The haunting continued with my other family members who moved in after we moved out years later. But it became less frequent and seems to have stopped now. My point is, it is just so UNdramatic. Soooo not like a movie. The amazing thing is, no matter how obvious an occurence could be, right to a pool of blood in the dining room with no explanation.....still leaves some people disbelieving .....it was right there and some would say "naaah there must becan explanation" 😅🤷‍♀️

HUGE Kudos to Bob Cranmer. Now, a man of FAITH, although always a genuine believer, he was able to accept the subtle twist of the requirements of Roman Catholicism, later in life, while in the depths of a home possession. He is a gift to us all, especially in this time of increased activity. A beacon, a lighthouse in the darkness, providing guidance from the humility of a 'simple person of faith'. I've seen all of the film produced (some good, a little OUTSTANDING) and the validation of Adam Blai in film, interviews & presentations. That man exudes humble intellect and has a fire of truth about him that few men can match. I respect Bob, his family and his effort to share his 'terrible' experience with us. I'm so grateful that his family shares the same honest passion to be truthful- it must be hard to be faced with such grave responsibility. Sincere gratitude for the book and his willingness to share without pontificating.

Ive been your your families shoes, took a different approach, different circumstances, lot longer at the time you made this but came out the same. I'm thinking as I'm listening here about the part about you getting rid of the demon but still have a haunting. What I'm wondering is since you never had anything negative happening until way later may be there wasn't a demon back at that point? (As opposed to it also being there but not doing anything). Now just why/how you then ended up with a demon is maybe the key mystery? Maybe this was asked, so forgive me if so but I'm wondering if since you had kids there was a time where 1 got curious (living with ghosts and all) and teenagers being teenagers they decided to bring a Ouija board out and try to communicate and it was at that point a demon came thru?? Bob, from what I've always heard it is VERY possible for a demon to get back in!! I've heard once you have a demonic presence there is a weakness if you will and there is indeed the possibility. Granted, you're being very diligent about it taking precautions which is a very good thing but I'd still never say never...

It’s because the Catholic faith is God made made. All other faiths are man made. You can trace the Catholic Church back to Christ. You can’t do that with any other denomination of the Christian faith. Jesus gave His Catholic Church authority before He ascended to heaven.

Keeping the family in the House was not wrong it’s very hard and dangerous BUT you can’t let it win, little things like that, even being scared can give it more power and make it harder for it to leave. Standing your ground is the best option.

Just finished reading the book. I find it incredible that the killing of the family in 1791 had a lasting effect right up until Bob and his family moved in (including the death of the women and children during the abortions) and the curse placed on the house. I wonder how can different Evil spirits/demons can be under the same roof and not fight with each other. I heard that there is going to be a movie adaptation of this story. Is it true?

Why did things start after Bob moved in and nothing paranormal happen to the previous residents/owners of the house plus people who visited the house prior to Bob had no paranormal experiences either.

@@elizabethhuie563 In the book of the very first chapter (pages 5 to 12 I think), Bob and his wife spoke with the family (Mr. And Mrs. McHenry) who wanted to sell the house as quickly as possible. Bob noted that Mr. McHenry's nervous responses and body language during their interactions. Mr. McHenry even held a mass in his home, something that was rarely done outside of a church and only under special circumstances. During their stay, Bob finds a box buried on his property which contained a rosary and other items of religious meaning. He called Mr. McHenry who immediately told him to put the box back where he found it. Furthermore, research showed that the house, along with another house near the house that the book centers around, was used to perform illegal abortions at. A German construction worker, who was jealous of the rich couple who bought the house sometime in the 40s I think, placed a curse on the house (he even referred to the wife as The Rich Bitch or Rich Bitch or some variation of that). This is mentioned a bit over halfway through the book. Bob's son had a girlfriend over during the haunting (in the Blue Room where his son slept) and both witnessed a CD fly out from the closet, smash into the wall, and broke into pieces
