This is so true, when i used to watch Chinese dramas and videos, I thought daily about divorce. I hated my husband and he hated me. We had problems daily! And, i was already born again mind you. I could feel darkness in my home. Sometimes when i lay down to sleep I'll see dark figures moving up and down in my kitchen. No good thing was happening to me. I was drowning in debt. No job. I lost my very good job after just a month. The devil enticed me with these movies and they became an addiction. But the Lord had mercy on me and delivered me. Since then my home has become peaceful and sweet. The Mercy of God is so great! The Lord is beautiful and wonderful. I love Him. I also have a great job now.

I wanted to share my experience. Once I have been saved by Jesus and I quit listening to secular music and I was only hearings songs which praise God. Eventhough I hear secular songs played in shops or in buses I will avoid by hearing worship songs. But one time I heard one song being used everywhere in social media and which was popular at that time and it had words in the song like Holy Spirit and all the song was more of like motivational and i thought its a christian song. So I added it to my play list. While I was in travel I started to play the Playlist and when that song played. I immediately saw a vision Leviticus 9:22 text is burning in fire. I went home and I was asking Holy Spirit what's the meaning and I started to look sermon and then I came to know that the song eventhough has words motivational and had Gods name. Still it didn't come from the right Spirit and Jesus doesn't accept that as a worship for him. So from then I carefully choose songs to praise and worship him as Leviticus 9:22 shows when worshiped just like God commands then fire came down from God as acceptance of worship and God blessed the people and in the next chapter when 2 people tried to worship God in their own way were consumed by fire as God is Holy. I hope my experience edify our Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

This has touched me a lot....I am someone who was told to stop listening to secular music, as well as wear trousers but I don't what pushes me to continue listening to this time of music. And in 2021 angel Michael told me that I should do as I please but the Lord is not happy. I stopped for a few days and continued again but, to my surprise whenever I am listening to music I would ask myself "what am I doing" I could not find an answer. I feel like am being forced listening to the music. On the other hand I thought nollywood was better than holly until I was visited but some of the popular actresses and actors, as well as saw some of them with growing eyes. I was very surprised because these claim to talk about God more even praying.....to cut the story short thanks Joy for sharing and keep spreading the gospel of christ. For all those saying the Holy Spirit never departed, please read & understand the following verses- “those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you” Romans 8:8,9 This is a very black and white passage which says we are either living in the flesh (flesh dominating us) or in the Holy Spirit (led by the Holy Spirit). If we are not in the flesh, then we are in the Spirit. If the Holy Spirit dwells in us, we are not in the flesh (we do not follow the flesh in sin). If we follow the flesh (sin), vice versa- we are not in the Spirit, I.e. the Holy Spirit doesn’t dwell in us. You think God will be subject to flesh inside us? He cannot. If you’re still not convinced, Please read about King Saul, Judas, and the rest of the Bible which has this written all over it. We can’t be following God and sin and still expect that He lives in us while we sin. The audacity!

The Sipirt of the Lord left Saul. Before Jesue paid it all the HS was not indwelling all who followed God. Thats why Jesus instructed His disciples to wait in Jerusalem untill His Father sent the Helper to them. Judus is the son of Perdition it states and evil spirt filled him and he didnt have the HS yet in the 1st place as none of them did at that time. Where in scripture is it started or impled that the HS leaves us? Rather we leave the Trinity on a shelf to do us, but that's not an absence of presence. Review 1st Corinthians 6:15-18 which provides some insight on why we shouldn't be okay with sin because we belong to God and we were bought with a price and we are no longer our own and we don't need to be joining the the Holy Spirit in such debauchery. Not that the Holy Spirit is joining us in sin by partaking in it but it's like us dragging Him along and further grieving Him as we're doing things He's encouraging us and telling us not to do and bringing scripture to remembrance that we don't need to do it and we don't have to do it because God has made a way of Escape etc.

Judas was given power over evil by Jesus and he cast out demons and healed the sick just like the other disciples. Yet he stole from the treasury and eventually Satan entered him. Or how about Ananias in Acts 5 who was a Christian after the Holy Spirit was given to indwell us? Read this verse - Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?...When Ananias heard this, he fell down and died. " Acts 5:3-5 We can never 'drag the Holy Spirit along' with our sin. He's not a wimp who follows us. Either we follow Him and 'have' the Holy Spirit, or we follow the devil and 'have' the devil. Read Revelations - Jesus' letters to the churches for more.

@@VihanDamaris John 14:16-18 KJV 16 "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;" Forever~* How do you think Ananias was trying to lie to the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit was indwelling with him yet he thought he could lie and not be found out, yet the Holy Spirt reveald to the apostles the truth of the matter. The Trinity is omnipotent and omnipresent. The HS only indwelling thoese who accept the gift of salvation making Jesus Lord of their lives. The scripture states the world can not recive Him, they had to have Him to be guilty of trying to lie to the Holy Spirit. John 14:17 "Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18 I will not leave you comfortless:" Do you have any scripture to support such a belief more ?If the Holy Spirt leaves how can He do His job of reminding us of the truth, comforting, helping us? Isn't that like saying Jesus leaves us,when scripture and He stated we can do nothing outside Him? Vine and branches and He will never leave nor forsake us. You said believing as if it were not scripture, as if believing it is deceit of the devil? The story referenced doesn't state the HS left them, that can be presumed though but not stated nor implied as a warning aspect. Rather not to try and lie to the HS.

I’ve noticed that when I started watching some Chinese short dramas at first they were interesting even though the story lines were repetitive and frankly speaking not worth it, but then I couldn’t stop even though I felt the storylines were one and the same and I really didn’t like the dramas but now I understand why. I have been sick for two years and was also used as a sacrifice at my job. I felt like a person who didn't have water and blood .but whenever I went to hospital they said said everything was well but man I felt like I had no spirit in side of me .and whenever I went to pastor's to pray for mi they told mi the cause was from my job and I worked with a money transfer company. Mi and my family were saved and really started building up a prayer alter and that's how my dear I started regaining energy and my appetite back. I was a person who could not even bath my self just being fed even walking was a problem..but I thank God that he is good a never fails us and am alive.

Hey there, I typed this as a general statement for all those saying the Holy Spirit never departed- Please read & understand the following verses- “those who are in the flesh cannot please God. But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you” Romans 8:8,9 This is a very black and white passage which says we are either living in the flesh (flesh dominating us) or in the Holy Spirit (led by the Holy Spirit). If we are not in the flesh, then we are in the Spirit. If the Holy Spirit dwells in us, we are not in the flesh (we do not follow the flesh in sin). If we follow the flesh (sin), vice versa- we are not in the Spirit, I.e. the Holy Spirit doesn’t dwell in us. You think God will be subject to flesh inside us? He cannot. If you’re still not convinced, Please read about King Saul, Judas, and the rest of the Bible which has this written all over it. We can’t be following God and sin and still expect that He lives in us while we sin. The audacity!

Shalom my loving sisters in Christ. I want to thank you for being servants of the Lord. For doing the work that has lead you to making this video. The Lord lead me to this video after I prayed for wisdom on a personal matter, and I think this video gave me the wisdom I prayed for. Because of this video, I have gained a better understanding of my situation. I have been battling sexual sin all of my life. Through the Holy Spirit, I've been able to trace it back to the beginning of this sin. He made me remember a movie I watched as a child. I didn't fully understand how that movie lead me to battling lust and committing so many disgusting acts. Your story has revealed to me, that I was under a demonic spell after watching that movie. The movie awakened my sexuality too early in life. I was only about 7 years old. I've been battle sexual sin and rejection my whole childhood. Thank you so much. The Lord says, "My people perish for lack of knowledge". Today, I've gained knowledge that will help me in my journey with Christ. God bless you both! Please keep going the good works as it is saving your brothers and sisters. You are indeed producing fruit, and my the Lord reward you for your good works. Amen.

I Agree with Joy 1000%.in 1997 I became born AGAIN in high school and the brethren warned me about secular music but, I'm a musician so I didn't listen. In 2000, I decided I was going to be bigger than Micheal Jackson and my mentor was Rkelly, spent these years been a Christian and developing into a very good musician but I just couldn't BLOW as we say in Nigeria. The HOLY Spirit has been pressing me all along and I learnt these things and more knowing that you CANNOT BLOW UP without SPIRITS. Secular music can only become famous when impacted by devils , And God won't give a secular musician/artists too fame cause, He will be promoting His Enemies Agenda.

Thank you for this interview with Joy, it is indeed profound. I wish God would open people's eyes especially that of believers who think that we are called to part of the world including secular media to reach to the people. In my old life I've tried to do that with my infamous attempt in becoming a dj and playing for God... I tried to take God along with me to places where they worshipped the enemy and I was just fooling myself into believing that God's with me. I'm grateful God opened my eyes and saved me. Since my returning back home to the Father I just naturally stopped watching secular media. I used to watch sitcoms thinking it's harmless but the message and the language is no better there. I sometimes sigh and ask God what can I watch for entertainment lol. I only binge something during my food break and I try to look for something and trust me it's so frustrating that there's none absolutely nothing that I can watch without hurting my soul. Pleasantly surprised to see this interview. God is calling His children to guard their eyes and ears and hearts and we need to prioritize God over entertainment. Everyone scrolls through insta and facebook and some random porn stuff pops up... you don't even have to be deliberately searching for it. So yeah we need to be deliberate in protecting ourselves as Satan is working overtime to pervert our souls. Well in the beginning it seemed crazy to me to quit movies, series and I didn't know what to do but few years later now I no longer need it and feel absolutely fine. Praise God for it!
