The Demonstration "Bell" at Great St Mary's Cambridge

S Tim Percy "rings" a rather intriguing demonstration bell in the ringing chamber at Great St Mary's, Cambridge. It's a bit tonally challenged.

Theres a large dumbbell at Evesham behind the Tenor/Extra Treble. It sounded quite pretty when I chimed it but the tower captain there reckoned it was harder to ring than any of the others in the tower despite there being at least a 35cwt difference between it and the (albeit beautiful!!) tenor!!!
