Established in the south of Sweden during 2018 by three childhood friends, the band set its goals early on. Inspired and influenced by classic rock legends as well as contemporary and modern acts they knew right from the start what The Demtones should be about. The lyrics are characterized by themes of self-realization and the struggle turning defeat into something constructive and creative.
The self-titled debut album saw the light of day in 2019 and when it comes to live performances this band has shown time after time that its one to be reckoned with. From supporting the likes of Gluecifer, Hardcore Superstar, Backyard Babies and Lucifer to executing tours of their own in Germany and Sweden, new fuel is constantly thrown on the fire.
Experience often breeds inspiration and The Demtones is no exception. The second album was released november 4th of 2022 and we can expect a sound described as bigger, rawer, tighter. It’s basically the self-confidence, attitude and authenticity from the live shows caught on tape!
Highly convinced of the beneficial effects equal attention can bring the music scene, a new concept was born within the camp. A video series called =DemFriends= filmed in the band’s own studio captures guest musicians from other bands accompanied by The Demtones as they interpreting the guests’ songs live, highlight one band per episode.
Now the band is back releasing new music in collaboration with producer Chips Kisbye and mix and mastering engineer Henryk Lipp.
