Lol £6.30 is actually very cheap for a pint of beer at a sports match compared to where I live. We pay the same for a can of mid strength local beer in Australia. However, you can drink in your seat during the match.

Huge respect for Millwall remember getting a good kicking at the den before the Man United match in 74 no cockney reds and no escort back to Euston they were tough days

As a ground I thought it felt a little bit sterile, purpose built and lacking in character with each stand pretty much the same as the other. However all of those things were more than made up for by the sheer passion of those who attended. So if you are judging by the bricks and mortar alone you are wrong, but if you include the fans you could possibly be right , but I left wishing I had experienced the Old Den….. if I survived

The Old Den was a whole different ball game as was the atmosphere..many came there with intent some to soak up the whole mix of fanatical spiteful support.. and the escort back to New X 👍👏👏
