9 months ago and Still important analysis. When we start cancelling people because of opinions, whilst taking sides with the unlikes of defending the rights of speech is now more imminent. Educational institutions ought to have diversity and tolerance of opinion, hence the debates on human rights. Palestinians as much as Israelis should have the right to exist, therefore , the one sided arguement is nullifying. Thank you once again professor Alan Dershowitz for this profound analysis on the bill of rights, constitutional rights and democratic values.

I much appreciate your clarity of mind, ability to verbalize it and most of all your guts to advocate for our people. It would be helpful to understand when, how and why anti-Semitism infected these institutions of "higher" learning. Who is responsible? Might you address that in a future program?

Unfortunately, antisemitism is different than other forms of discrimination. It is a form of psychosis. You cannot reason with them. Heartbreaking but American Jews are in denial about that fact.

There is a major difference between Jews in Israel, and whites in New Zealand. Jews are the indigenous people of Israel (and Jordan), while Maori are the indigenous people of New Zealand. Whites, populating New Zealand, were settling in another people's land, displacing them, just as the Arabs settled in the Jewish land of Israel, and displaced the native people, often by killing them.

I have learned another definition of Zion that I can't really accept. I read romantic novels and was quite a fan of George Elliot ( actually Maryanne Blake or some English surname close to that) . But my problem with her , as I love her work was her use of the word Zion. Have you any knowledge of her take. To her Zion is the hill or house above where the ruling class lives and the poor and middle class Jews are not welcome.

Growing up I thought the WS WAS the Dodgers v Yankees; rooted for the Yankees, but Jews were very excited abt Koufax. People would buzz abt the score during services. Games were in the daytime. We got all the games, including scheduled double headers. I saw Larson'd perfect game and the HR battle between M&M.
