What I've read and heard is that it all started around Sky Valley time,,Josh wanted to write all the songsand Brant didn't like it so he left Kyuss, and ever since then they've alway's not got a long to well

He thought Kyuss wasn't ment for stardom as it would negatively impact the music....so he decided to call it quits after their breakout tour with metallica. Still leaves you asking some questions or course.

Man I'm just getting into this I was am a huge kyuss fan from when they came out with blues for the red son I was lucky enough to live next door to a dude in college who had blues for the red son album and turned me on to kyuss in like 1992 and I have been into queens and slowburn and anything done by any former member of kyuss I also have the first dessert session album. I guess it's the first it was kyuss / qotsa. But after that I heard of other desserts albums but never able to find any other dessert sessions albums or hear any till recently. Does anyone know how many there are and where I can purchase these recordings. Every since I was turned on to kyuss and fun Manchu. It changed my music preference and what I listened too for ever. Also. I was lucky enough to attend a kyuss show in Dallas Texas at a small club in deep ellum not sure what club and not sure the exact date but it was around 1992 or 1993 I must say that I've seen many concerts and rock shows by the biggest names in music and underground music and I must say by far that Kyuss show in Dallas TX is by far the greatest live concert I've ever attended it was fucking unbelievable

There is Desert Sessions 1&2, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8, 9&10 and 11&12. 11&12 has their own website, look up Desert Sessions, but the purchase is digital not tangible. You used to be able to buy the 11&12 disc off the QOTSA website but now it says 404 error. I saw a couple discs on ebay of the others.
