One dimension Jolene adds to the camera-work are those brief vignettes when the camera focuses on the photo of Chad in the Fina hat on the new wall, and how she follows Fina the dog as it moves over to its comfy blanket. It just adds to the interest of the video. Nice work!

Jolene I believe does a better job than the discovery crew when they were on Tv . Her focus on close up shots are amazing and it seems like she knows exactly how and what angle to shoot! I watch several different channels and Jolene by far hit the mark when Chad does not ruin her shots 😂

Chad, you customize cars. That's what you do, and you are extremely good at it. You also share knowledge with your followers. I love your saying, "Take what you want, and throw a way the rest." I have gotten many ideas from watching you work. Thank you for sharing your ideas and knowledge.

I had about the same day in my wood shop today Chad....made some mistakes and fixed them. Being retired, I walk to my shop every morning and do my thing, I've been a woodworker for over 50 years, starting in my Dad's shop with him at about age 13...I sure miss him and wish he was still here. Anyway, I just wanted to say Happy New Year to Ya"ll (yes, I'm from Alabama, and Roll Tide!!)

Chad makes the most honest videos on the internet. No editing, the viewer sees it all, the whole process. Mistakes are just part of the job. Fix them and move on. There isn't a more dedicated person to his craft. When he starts something, he zeroes in on it and there is nothing else at that moment in time. Only the work. You can't help but be inspired by his work ethic.

A lot of people couldn’t come close to doing stuff as fast as you chad and Jolene and if they tried to I would like to see how slow they go or how many mistakes they make also I love how you both show your mistakes with all the amazing work you do because you never see that on any other shows they only wanna show that their experts in their field and that they don’t make mistakes like everybody else

Chad, I used to watch your show by computer. Then it was easy to press like. But lately I have been watching on my TV using the utube app on my Roku. I don't know how to click like on the app so I haven't done it. I'm not the only one who has stopped clicking like because of this. I talked to my brother last night and he is in the same situation. BTW, I enjoyed seeing how you are extending the taillights. I hope you French the headlights too.

not the channel to learn painting , watch Sylvester Customers, Eastwood , Big dust for breakfast, The Gunman , Pharraway Kustoms . Chad uses dodgy methods that work for him , it will get you into trouble spraying at 70 psi , and his work patterns etc. It's not hanging shit , I am a capable painter and know the difference. Sylvester is great for narration.

Since you mentioned it. Highly intelligent people talk to themselves it is there way of working thru problems, etc. I do it; as well. Love the work you are doing elongating the taillights. Anything that lengthens and leans out the heavy body of the car is good. That is why 60' cars were stretched and did so well. People were tired of looking at a lump. It will as I have said take a good eye to use paint and lines to lean out the body which would be great. I am routing for it. Keep up the good work and Happy New Year!!!

Just my thought on the extension of the tail lights. Swoop the underneath of them to the car. I think would be a cool loon instead of just oval all the way around. And i was yelling at the tv that you were welding them pieces on the wrong side. Lol. Awesome video tho. Car is looking great. Happy New Year to you Chad,Jolene Fina, Nate and Doug!!

Happy New Year Jolene and Chad🎉. Not sure what your plans are for the taillight extension but i will reserve judgment on it until the final product is done and shown to us. Usually the front and back lights get frenched in so curious if it'll get tied into the sheetmetal of the quarters or just be a block type extension out the back

Here i am in Texas, trying to help uou out but, you can't hear me. Your pattern is still on the car, the factory face plate light was bolted to since factory new. Cut it off and fill in the 3 inches with sheetmetal. Could saved a lot of time. You're making something that is already on car. Dan "the Elvis singer" Smith in Alvarado, Tx..

Jolene, I have a suggestion... If while Chad is grinding or repeating some things IF while editing you fast forward through some of it (maybe with music), then you can get more detailed content in your videos.... it will allow for more content, actually.... just a belly button from a long-time subscriber. You guys are inspiring to me....thank you both.

I was hoping to see would use the fenders from the old car in the backyard they looked like they would've looked amazing on the Shoebox. whatever car it was. Those fender look so much nicer than the ones that are on it right now. No matter who you are you always have the odd days when things don't seem to go your way. Moma said their be days like that. It's just the way the ball bounces sometimes, that's all.

Chad, please consider a new design for the tail lights.. You only have them tacked in place. Please consider recessing the taillights. You really don't need anymore extension. The additional "cat walk" takes care of that. There really is no reason to extend the taillights 3". If you really look at it in your mind's eye you have to say "why". But, you already have the mounting plates made...'twice', so recess them. Make the tail lights in the same plane as the quarter panel. This will be a superior change. Yeh, it may be a little more difficult, but it will be a far more original customization. Thanks for your consideration. I have learned so much from watching you.

You forgot, picking up the wrong extension, i saw that too,you laid them all together, fricken slow down, your customizing, not going for a worlds record, theres never time to do it right the first time, but oddly always time to do it over or correct, the second third or fourth. You took almost a half an hour correcting that tailight, slow down.

Looking forward to these extensions/fabrications to the tail lights. Are your tail light red lenses plastic or glass ? If plastic, those blue dots inserts were a sweet custom choice. And if it has not been suggested before, gas door delete could be cool. Like how you explain what you are doing to your vehicles. Thank you. Cheers from the west coast.
