The Destroyer - Finding Ty a Jeep

Looks like a Canadian Jeep, which may explain the rust. In Canada they were called Jeep TJs hence the factory TJ sticker on the side. The wrangler name was already owned by another company in Canada so they just used TJ instead

it is better than the last one. and its nice that the guy is being honest about the body mounts. but the cooling system being that way is a no go.

I'm in MN. This is the reason I spent 16k on a black rust free 2002 jeep tj 4.0/automatic from California and had it shipped to me in MN. I feel i still came out ahead except for the fact that I modded it with 38k in parts alone. Yep I have a 54k 2002 jeep tj now. But its awesome as hell.

So the reason it drive bad is because stuff is not set up correctly. I’ve been in lifted vehicles and some road great some did not. It looked like there was some worn out ish parts in the front end. If you did some after market tie rod ends and witch you will have to do anyway, is do center and end frame stiffners, it should ride 10 times better.

That was a good pass. I can see a trend that finding jeeps of these years seem to come with quite a bit of rust as I'm sure a lot of vehicles do that get around this age.

What would you pick for a pickup truck? Ram, Ford, or GM, you know Jeep and Ram are both Chrysler products right. I’m talking 1500s btw and not raptors or trxs. I just can’t bring myself to buy a Ford, I’d go ram.

@@KyleSVT so you like older vehicles, what do you think of dodge chargers, like the scat pack and hellcats? I know you got a cobra but what do you think of dodge. How long you had that cobra btw?

@loganpayer2223 Yea older vehicles are my favorite. I like those cars a lot. Wont own one but appreciate them. They sound amazing. Had the cobra since 2011
