I use to have a detailing business. I did very well and really loved detailing cars. I did it out of my own garage and my reputation spread fast and I had a huge clientele. I think I charged $160 for a mid size, $170 for trucks and $200 for vans. It was hard work, some of those family vans were so filthy many of them I worked on for over 12 hrs by myself. All the best to you and your successful business.

Hey Tino, love your channel mate. 1. How come you use the airblower after you've dried the larger areas around it first? - Wouldn't be more effective to empty those small areas of water and then dry everything? 2. Don't you charge extra when it's a bit more complicated cases like a lambo like this one? You mentioned 50 pounds in another video and it seems really cheap if you have to use 2-3 hours?
@TinoCarCare3 жыл бұрын
Hello, thanks. I like to use the air blower after drying as if I use it before, the water on the car can go back into those small areas. You may be right as they are more difficult to clean, however, I charge them the same as it is a dream come true to work on these magnificent cars.

Hello! I just found out you recently and I need to tell that I am impressed. I by myself am thinking about opening the same type of business here in Poland (to be honest it would be rather for my wife than for me. She simply love to pamper the car so I thing it will be well suited for her). I would like to ask you about two things regarding water supply and wastewater management. I am wondering if you have your own water supply somewhere over your vehicle (not sure if that is even possible) or you are always choosing places for your work where you can plug into some water supply? And are you obliged to take care of wastewater leftovers after cleaning the cars? (Do you need any permissions to perform it on the street?). I love watching your videos! Keep up with the good work and all the best!
@TinoCarCare3 жыл бұрын
Hello my friend. Thank you for the kind words. Inside the van is a 250 liter water tank which is enough water to clean about 4-5 cars. In terms of waste water, you would have to see what rules there are in Poland and if you are aloud to wash a car on the street.

In the end - there is almost no possiblity to legaly run this kind of business here. We have a straight regulation regarding enviroment protection. Additionaly you always will find some eco-freak who will call the cops on you.

This would be good, sometimes I follow the first snow foam with a pre wash spray. However, I see this car very regularly and it is not driven too often, so it does not have any dirt to require a second snow foam or pre wash, which would just slightly eat at the protection if there is no dirt

@TinoCarCare3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the advice. Respect to Argentina 🇦🇷💪. This car was done in the early morning, however, to deal with the sun, I use pure water while washing cars (normal tap water has chlorine and minerals which leaves those water marks) pure water doesn't leave any watermarks and allows me to wash cars in hot conditions

What kind of mixture ratio are you using for your snow foam? I am using a Karcher K7 for my personal car, and usually in order to get a thick layer of snowfoam I have to set the foam gun dial to maximum, which in turn pretty much empties out a whole bottle of foam for one pre-wash. Or is the foam quality a factor as well (the one I am using is also the Karcher super foam)?

@TinoCarCare3 жыл бұрын
Hello, the glass cleaner I use will be available to purchase soon at www.tinocarcare.com But usually the problem is not the glass cleaner. Instead the problem is that the cloth has become contaminated. Window cloths must be ultra clean and only used for cleaning windows. Also they should not be washed together with any other cloth. Hope this helps.

@TinoCarCare3 жыл бұрын
Hello. You do not need to worry about this as whilst washing the car, any water which goes into the exhaust cannot not go far enough through the exhaust to the engine, mufler or anything else. All you need to do is not put the pressure washer directly into the exhaust.

@TinoCarCare3 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you. The first think is to make sure that the car is as clean as possible before drying. Next would be to use a microfibre drying cloth (the softer the better) (A chamois does the trick too but a microfibre is a little safer) A drying aid could be used to make it even safer, but i personally dont use one. Then do the windows first to get the Microfibre a little wet before doing the paintwork And also try not to take too long while drying as dust could fall from trees or anywhere else for example Hope this helps buddu
