Have you tried out target mode? Instead of hooking on to buildings and other obstructions you only hook onto titans, titan shifters and players, it's really good in Hvh you should try it out.

tip, always look for the warriors's skin Color, as its not hid wwhen they are hooded you can easily look throught the players characters when you press esc and so find your target
