Seeing the first interviews with Za'Darius after the trade, seeing how genuinely excited he was about joining the Lions. That's when I thought "Oh, this is gonna be good"

Thank you, homie, for showing the Detroit Lions some attention and love by breaking down some of their schemes and the individual player analysis. I thought that I remember you saying in a video that you are a Seattle Seahawks fan. So us Lions fans appreciate you showing our Team respect. We're happy with Big Za'Darius. Some of my buddies didnt believe me when I said that the Lions should have snatched Z from the Vikings in 2022..or even from the Browns..that he would have been a complimentary piece alongside Hutchinson (before the injury). I knew that we'd get Za'Darius when Hutch got hurt....and now Z is trying to fill those shoes. I figured that he'd be on one straight from the rip. (My buddies didnt believe that, either. Lol.)

First yes I’m a hawks fan first NFL game I ever went to was a hawks vs 49ers game been hooked since. But I also love the game of football so it’s not in me to just be bias towards one team(I’m attracted to good football). Secondly I had no clue that Za’Darius has been on the lions radar for that long guess you friends should of listened to you lol 👊🏾🏈

I didn't really know much about him before he joined the team, but what impresses me the most is his sideline presence. This dude is excited to be a Lion and it shows.

youre right lol, liked the trade from the jump but wasnt expecting this much from a 32 year old edge on a defense thats depleted as a whole.
@BigR365Ай бұрын
Damn that’s right 32! A lot of teams would shy away from his age I can see the lions investing long term 👊🏾🏈

He was the lions version of the Rasheed Wallace pick up!

He's got insane potential which we're already seeing. Can't wait to see him develop even further, if he keeps this play up he'll be remembered for it. Lions making some great moves lately

Lions fan here. I had high hopes for smith but his play has exceeded what I thought we would get. So glad he is here and look forward to him and Hutch playing together. #TAPEDONTLIE

For me, I trust Holmes and Cambell to go get football players and try to make them better

Za’Darius has the positive attitude and motivation, he was dumped by 2 Central Div teams. Our rivals.

He said to go up against the packers and Vikings twice a year is the greatest joy the lions could give him

I have wanted Za’darius to be a Lion for awhile. I was disappointed when the Browns traded with the Vikings for him, as I thought he would have been a great fit here. Also, I had seen enough of him when he played against us with the Packers and the Vikings to know what kind of player he was. While a lot of fans unrealistically pined for Maxx Crosby or Myles Garrett, I was advocating for Smith as a reasonable option cost wise, both for his salary and trade value.

Zadarius Smith plays his best ball when he is happy. He wasn't happy his last year in Green Bay, Minnesota, or Cleveland because of contract situation or otherwise. With that said, I was happy with got him and he fits in well. High energy and produces on the football field.

Not only is he putting in work for us, not only does his personality accentuate MCDCs Lions by 110%, but every week you see him up and down the sidelines coaching people up and you can't put a price on that.

This is the guy I personally wanted to see traded for. The value in return had so much more upside. What a great personality to add to this team. Draft another Edge rusher in the draft and let Smith mentor him. Hutchinson can focus on being Hutch.

Brad Holmes and AG know how to pick fighters, and they just let him play ball and let him loose. Great organization.
