As Lions fan, the mass majority of the fanbase has been dellusional all year in regards to their expectations of this year's team. So many people talking about the superbowl run we could make this year. This is crazy talk. To win the division and play competively in a playoff game i thought was the reasonable ceiling all year. Maybe with a few less injuries on defense we could have won 2 playoff games, and thats a big maybe. If you are being objective as a Lions fan you should look at teams like the 49ers, Eagles and Cowboys, 2 of three have mobile qbs, especially Philly, and realize we dont have the personel on the field or with our defensive coordinator to beat those teams. And the 49ers are just all around better. We gotta temper our expectations and trust the rebuild so we are not so damn devastated after every loss. Plus the NFL is the land of ovveractions and ovvereactors. You gotta take all this week to week highs and lows with a giant grain of salt. 8 and 3. This team is 8-3. "OH Detroit hasnt played well the last month" you know how many teams you could say that about that will make the playoffs? A LOT OF THEM. Goff has had more good games than bad but lets throw him under the bus. Our coach has taken massive risks all year that in large part have paid off but now a fake punt fails and all the casuals throw him under the bus. Lol. The reality is, if you are not dellusional, the Lions are right on schedule. Our day will come guys

Missed the live showing of this. But, you should know by now, I'm always "liking" the video and posting something to help the video. This loss will carry a long time in "The young" (aka your generation). For me, the loss was dismissed in my mind within a few hours as "a fluke". LIONS losses do not stick in my memory for very long. The wins enjoy an eternity in my mind. You and Katie have a good trip (UGH 16 hours driving??!!!!) It took me 22 hours to drive from Detroit to Punta Gorda FL 3 years ago. NEVER EVER doing that again by myself! I'M NOT 25 ANYMORE!

Not gonna lie, this game was hard to watch. But with all that being said, I still believe we can bounce back from this. I think Brad Holmes is a great gm, but he really should've got Hutch a sidekick on the defensive line. The entire opposing o-line just schemes around him and nobody else is getting to the quarterback. I really want this team to go far in the playoffs, but after this game, I don't know if we will.
