My understanding is that Sagan proposed the idea as a potential solution to the insurmountable problem that abiogenesis on earth was impossible given the ridiculously short time frame (relatively speaking) from the formation of the earth to the emergence of life. They're going to need that to explain the pre-Cambrian explosion too because the known time frame has just been so significantly narrowed that it is clearly mathematically impossible for it to be the result of evolution.

A theory I had was that Lucider isn't the origin of evil as he was an important member with God. I figured that if God is the origin of everything then he is also the origin of evil, but I doubt God is evil or morally grey. So something else must've influenced Lucifer to take the wrong road and considering the God went through something similar to us I think it is very possible. I also thought of Lucifer of someone who wanted to do good, but went about the wrong way, like the saying "the road to hell is often paved with good intentions". I do understand his desire, sure he would force everyone to be good by removing their will, but at least all of his spiritual siblings would be saved and get the highest of rewards, but freedom of choice was a more important idea despite its risks. Thats just my thoughts though.

We're definitely in a world where the middle road has been withdrawn and we're now looking at satan as a victim. Satan's plan was to make the world evil. His plan was to take away consequences for our actions. We could choose evil everyday and it would always be okay. That's where we'd lose our agency. God didn't trick Satan into turning evil, he allowed his pride and desire for power consume him. If you look at the evil in the world right now, that's the world Satan wanted. Take away the consequences and we'll all go back to heaven. Satan chose his path willingly. No one made him do it

I like your thoughts, but one thing. Satan's desire wasn't to save anyone. His desire was to obtain glory and ascend in power above God. He is not a sympathetic figure. Satan's desires were entirely selfish and if he could get glory without saving a single soul, he would. Hence his futile struggle against God.

Everyone seems to forget that God was once as man is. He lived in a fallen world, there's just a natural tendency to want to be bad. The point of this existence is to learn to master and overcome all of that. The concept we can't fathom or understand is grace, how grace, as an actual power gives us the strength to overcome that. Or does grace just send more angelic spirits to chase off the demons and devils that outnumber us. God's a scientist, not a magician. What he does makes sense and has logic, we just don't fully understand it but, just as children are born into this life and start making choices, so it is with spirits. We just get a push from the devil to encourage that behavior, we come up with a lot of things on our own without his help he just ENTICIES us to do evil. Agency was always a thing, and it's the one thing God can't mess with, even as a God. He can try to sway our thoughts by changing our surroundings, but we can still tell him NO until he takes our life, the only way he can put an end to our choice, and even as a spirit in the Spirit world, we still have agency. We used agency to choose his way rather than the devil's, it's always been there, it wasn't like once the plan was presented suddenly agency kicked in or when we inhabit a body, agency kicks in, some of us could have been troublemakers in the Pre-Existence, the veil over our mind sort of gave us the clean slate but, there's still talents we developed in the pre-mortal existence that carried with us here to give us personalities. Just don't forget: As man is, God once was, and as God is man may become. If your kids can be born to be rebellious, so can God's spirit children, he lost a third of them, for this earth

In Moses 5:30 Satan sware that he would do according to Cain’s commands. The chapter heading, says that Cain becomes perdition. Verse 24 says about Cain “thou wast also before the world” this implies to me that he was perdition before he came to earth. So I’ve had this thought for a while now before the historical parts came into my view. First, evil had to preexist Lucifer. Else how could he ever MAKE a different choice from the Father. Second, it’s perhaps a debatable point, but are we 100% sure it was Lucifer who confronted Moses in the POGP? It seems that whatever confronted him had some kind of body. But Lucifer never got one. Maybe that’s why he rules over Lucifer? Because he has a body? 🤷‍♂️ And thanks for pointing out that Lucifer has not gone to outer darkness yet. Enoch and John (Revelation) both describe OD as a very uncomfortable place that no one would be happily consigned to. This is an incredible plan of salvation with so many wonderful moving parts. Present times are scary but incredibly beautiful all at once as we begin to unfold doctrines long since lost.

Also, I find the "heat death of the universe" idea fascinating, especially since the universe *started* in a chaotic "matter unorganized" state. I've had this idea for a while that the law of entropy contradicts the idea of evolution as science sees it. Evolution can only make sense if there is some kind of exalting power behind it, like the Unmoved Mover himself. Because of entropy, complex beings become simpler, or "hewn down"--not more complex. As defined today, evolution is supposedly the opposite. From intelligence, to spirit body, to the mortal soul (spirit + physical), to immortality, to exaltation and eternal life, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have the power to "evolve" us. If it weren't for them and the grace the Father had in picking our portion of the unoccupied universe to organize, we would still be living in chaos as mere intelligences. I think this idea of "life" in the plan of salvation also explains the current scientific model of an expanding universe, rather than a stagnant or dying one. Whether entropy is a sentient intelligence or not, it is certainly true that even the Devil is subject to it. Heavenly Father knew this all along and found the way to defeat entropy and satisfy justice for all of His creations through the Worthy Sacrifice.

Archangel Samael and Archangel Lucifer are two different beings. The former is who Satan is, the latter is his boss. Archangel Samael is the archangel in Talmudic writings (i.e. very old scripts). Often referred as Satan in the Book of Job, and the Destroying angel in the Book of Exodus. Cristina Bruno on KZbin goes into depth on who he is and how he is different than Lucifer.

Many rescues have been from mom cats trying to protect their babies from coyotes and dogs and stupid humans and didn't survive leaving tiny kittens left behind to die. Thankfully, sometimes there's a nice human who will find the kittens and turn them in to the shelter where they'll be fostered in a home until they're old enough to fix and adopt out. Cats struggle more than any other animal and people hate them because they don't eat their 💩 💩 💩 and vomit like dogs do and you have to earn their trust. But once they give it to you they'll show more loyalty than a dog could even come close to. I have a few good friends in the feline foster care, all male. I stand by..... REAL MEN LOVE CATS👌😸

Read the discourse on Abbaton. It’s amazing. He was an arch angel known as Mouriel. He was the only angel brave enough to gather the dust of the earth while the earth protested. The earth cries out like it does in the pearl of great price. The earth doesn’t want to be pained with murders and evils of men. Christ says he will take upon him the sins of mankind so the earth won’t have to. Mouriel is eventually put in charge as the angel of death and becomes Abbaton. Other than this the text is full of very lds type ideology. The Adam god concept is explained clearly. Amazed by Adam’s likeness to his own, god sits Adam on his throne and commands everyone to worship Adam as his countenance and likeness. Lucifer says he will not because he was created before Adam. He is stripped of his power and authority and cast out. He eventually succeeds in dethroning Adam when Adam transgresses. Mouriel or Abbaton as he is now called is sat on the throne. God and Jesus are 2 separate beings in this pre existence. It also mentions multiple heavens toward the end. So much more.

I believe if you go back and read in the old and New testament, you see that demons do not possess the same attributes of Angelic beings. From my understanding, demons are a different type of creation and they are not the same as fallen angels. They are a lower order of spirit. But angels in the Bible are consistently in Hebrew referenced with exactly the same terminology. Whether they are of satan's fallen angels, or whether or not they still serve God. The only difference is that those who followed Satan and got kicked out of heaven, are mentioned in a negative light!!! But they are not specifically called demons. Another mention of differentiation between angels which are fallen, and demons, is that in the Bible it talks about demons needing a host body, in order to survive, and when they are sent out of a person's body, they will go out into a desert where they have no food essentially, and must seek another host in order to survive! Whereas fallen angels do not need a host body because they have their own physicality on the other side of the veil! That is because angels are already physical, but we cannot see them. And in the scriptures it talks about demons asking to be thrown into pigs or returning to humans whom they previously possessed, after being cast out, because they would not be able to survive otherwise! And it is said that if a demon is cast out of a human body, then they will often come back with other demons in order to try to take over the vessel again. But this is not a characteristic trait of angels to need a host physical body. traditionally, angels can create their own human form at any time, to come into this world to test us, help us, fight for us, etc. But it is said that we typically won't know that it is an angel! But if all angels are mentioned using the same terminology in scripture, just mentioned in a positive or negative light, You will also notice that a different terminology and Hebrew is used when referencing demons! It may be that demonic activity might be a present feature of a Satan following angel, because they are working together with the demons, but that does not make them the same type of creation!

The only issue I see in this is in Job, where Satan comes with the other sons of God to ask permission from God directly if he can go after Job. As for the "waters" or deep, I think it's unformed matter, in it's pure energy state, before it was formed into particles or quarks even. Water was just the thing that Moses was familiar with that most resembled what he saw. Just like in the King James Version of Nahum 2: 3-4 where modern cars and traffic is described using the closest items of biblical times. If you use any other Bible translation of Nahum 2: 3-4 they are so different it destroys completely the revelations true meaning, turning it into contradicting nonsense.

If you follow our Doctrine to its logical conclusion, then it is safe to theorize that we are not God's "first batch" of spirit children. There were very likely countless generations that passed before us. Because the law of agency is an eternal one, those children would have had the ability to choose good or evil as well, which means that Lucifer almost certainly is not the first son or daughter to have betrayed the father. I have no doubt that there are beings in the abyss of Outer Darkness far older than Lucifer, possibly more nefarious and twisted as they have languished in hatred and resentment of the one who created them.
